of course Meffy, *if* it was a grade school in the UK, but i was referring to the US. wait... now that i'm thinking about his more, it's NOT from sack races. it's from the sock hop dances that took place in gymnasiums back in the 50's. but of course, the floor of the gymn would be covered with oil.

I think I'm going to start classifying different groups as "ambient polka" and if my calculations are correct, it will spread across teh interweb like wildfire and soon I'll have created a new genre :wink:

That's how clownstep and neurofunk were memed, and now they are houshold names in DnB.

It's how the 12th genre to be called "hardcore" started too.
