I'll be glad to help get it set correctly, but I've got to go to work and its going to be a blistering weekend for me, so I won't be able to load up anything until after midnight today when I get home, but I definitely will soon as I get a chance.

Then why in the world would you reply to a thread where someone is asking for a VST of an emulation of one? Do you just like to type? I think that's the root of why people are angry. No one asked for your opinion of Fuzz in this thread.Hink wrote: I don't like fuzz and I don't like EH

Also, tomg, is there anything you can do to better simulate the attack response? A BM's attack is nowhere near a Fuzz Face, etc, but it still has that clicky cool attack thing going that enhances your picking style.
I have no idea how to go about doing something like that in Reaktor..

You actually purchased that?Sickle wrote:There's a lot of talk about the Little Big Muffs, and the recent re-release of that pedal. Some swear that its a way heavier sounding circuit. I myself haven't played through one, and I seriously question whether something made today in China and sold by EH for $50 is going to rival a vintage circuit, but this stupid thread ate at me so bad I went and added another Muff to my collection:

why? Because a lot people think it's a crime I destroyed the classic tele custom...I have to admit if I had that guitar in the original condition it was in when I bought it a Black 72 Tele Custom would fetch a few bux on ebay...that's all.Sickle wrote:Why? Tele's are f**king great guitars. I'll never buy one myself, but I totally acknowledge how good an instrument they are.Hink wrote:and yes it was the Muff Fuzz I put in my guitar...I'm really afraid that if I tell people the guitar I put it in was a 72 tele custom I might get run out of dodge.
Unsane uses those things.
Unsane f**king rocks.
Hard.
They might even use Big Muffs.

I started out agreeing with a post someone made....jees KvR is getting disturbing lately...I haveas much right to respond as in any thread and if you don't like what I have to say yu can A, not read my post, or B, mute me...but maybe even if I don't like something doesn't mean I wont have something to offer. FWIW one person is angry....count em...1zerocrossing wrote:Then why in the world would you reply to a thread where someone is asking for a VST of an emulation of one? Do you just like to type? edit: I also forgot the number one reason why I have the right to respond in any thread...I might learn something new. Just because I haven't liked a company or a tone for years doesn't mean I'm pigheaded enough to say I'll never like it...and in fact I learned a thing or two in this thread

I'm not talking it down, I wish that guitar never got stolen because I really loved that guitar...it was very much a part of me.ughnonumus wrote:Who's talking down the first solid body electric guitar? I used to have one and a Mike Matthew's Freedom Amp that ran on 40 "D" cell batteries.

Hink wrote:back to Big Muffs...I still think the original little big muff was the best sounding of the three...does anyone else agree even slightly?
the ramshead big muff pi's were the ones most folks cite, but the little big muff was more of an overdrive than a distortion, probably why you liked...
more nuance, less leatherface.

nah, who cars if ya don;t like eh?Hink wrote:but as I recall (and if I'm wrong tell me) back when they originaly came out, before the russians there were the Big Muff, Little Big Muff and as I was corrected on the Muff Fuzz. I'm talking early to mid 70s here...if I'm wrong then let me correct myself by saying of the ones I tried. Of course I sold the newer ones at three different stores, but they were not exactly thrilling me any more then. I know it's killing you I dont like EH, sorry.
they pretty much were over by the mid 70's...
but the big muff was the first ruskie one, they used to call them red army overdrives...they were a horrible soylent green colour, and sounded more like a rat than a muff..
the big muff pi sounded alot different.
there were so many variants it's hard to say conclusively uch about the stuff made in the ny period, as i've seen all kinds of weird variants.
mathews is pretty accessible, you used to be able to call new sensor and rap with him.
i called them once after putting my micromoog thru the sovtek muff i had jusr bought and blowing out the trace on the cicuit board from the input..
they asked me what it sounded like, i said the les paul of the gods right up until it blew up.
i jumpered the f**ker and fixed it, cuz it wasn;t worth me sending it back to them.
that said, on a side line, alot of the mini "reissues" they are making sound like shit.
the clone theory reissue was the biggest letdown in history, almost unuseable compared to the main item.
but yah, early to mid 70's was the heyday of EH...cuz nobody couldafford most of the other stuff that was available...like mutrons and ross etc.
