I have found a bug in the asData\Voyager_GUI.ini file.
Everyone, please re-download and re-install Voyager-lf.exe.
Thank you for the "fix", and the great skin... should we uninstall the previous version first?

I have fixed a mistake in the installer, so please re-download.

You do not need to uninstall.

Thanks, that's fixed the dodgy gain control.

I'm still having the problem with the Sustain level; I've played some more and it seems everything works ok in vsthost but not enrgyxt or Reaper for some reason. Why would a specific host treat a certain control any different..?

So far I have not been able to reproduce your problem I have tested in VstHost and Reaper, seems to work fine here. Which energyXT are you using: v1.41 or v2.53 ?
[edit]just tested in eXT v1.41 and eXT v2.53, seems to work fine here[/edit]
Have you tried the original Voyager and do you then have the same problems ?

Post

It's eXT 2.53. The original Voyager works fine, as does your skin in vsthost.

Sounds install specific, I'll have a tidy up and reinstall, see if that helps.

Incidentally, I noticed the mGui dlls are at version 2 now? Is this generally available? Could only see the 1.5~ versions on your site.

Cheers.

OK, as mentioned eXT 2.53 seems to work fine here

Let me know of your progress.

Yes, the mGUI is at v2, but it is still in beta phase, so I have not tested with all the different combinations. I am still testing the new PNG code ...

(Maybe install mGUI first then just copy/paste the folders from the rarfile)
How about a self-extracting installer:

Download Voyager-lf.exe. (you don't need to install mgui.exe)

Installation

If you DON'T have any other mGUI plugins installed:
  • Run the Voyager-lf.exe installer program to copy the folders+files into the VstPlugins folder.
---
Then copy/move the Arguru's Voyager.dll into the \asData\plugins folder.
I fallowed up this instalation tutorial and i dont get anything working, can anyone wrote how to do it STEP BY STEP properly?

I run Voyager-lf.exe, install to my vst plugin folder, put original voyager dll to xxxx/asdata/plugins.

I run voyager and still nothing, if i try vyager_gui, the host crashes.

EDIT:

managed to get working, now i noticed there is a bug with it in FL Studio, seems when this plugin gets loaded the mouse pointer in piano roll gets glitchy, futher more when the plugin window is opened, the transport panel with keys such as Space and ect, doesnt work anymore only by closing plugin window.

Hi themachinelt,
Unfortunately I don't have FL Studio on my system, so I have started to download the 200MB demo, there most probably is a solution, but I first need to install this host ...

[edit] Voyager_GUI.dll seems to work fine with me in the FL Studio v9.1 demo, (using Intel i5-530 CPU @ 4GHz, using graphics of the i5-530, standard Windows mouse drivers, winXPsp2), mouse pointer works fine in piano roll ...
If you want to disable the keyboard interception you may edit the Global.ini file, section Fruity Wrapper add the following line: KB_MW=$04 [/edit]

I noticed when turning a knob it sometimes can be very irresponsive and slow (not all the time, just occasionally) .. It also feels that the arrow keys are not working (not a big problem, i simply press the type and browse through the waveforms)..

My host is Renoise.

Hi vincentvc,

Please click on the "VOYAGER" text in the bottom-left corner, and ensure you are using v2.0.b.10, if not then download Voyager-lf.exe.
If you still have problems with irresponsive knobs, please post again in this thread, and I shall upload a newer version which might solve your problem.

regarding the arrow keys: currently they don't function as separate up/down selection, but only as "increment" to next value. You may try the mouse-wheel to navigate up/down of these controls.

Post

Can you post the files that have been updated as opposed to the exe installer? I don't use the default paths anymore and know from experience this can cause problems.

Because Voyager-lf.exe (which uses mGUIbetaV10) is a self-extracting archive, you can just open Voyager-lf.exe with 7-zip or WinRAR and extract the files yourself

Ok, cheers :)

Sorry for the late response, I already had (and have) the latest version installed.
The problem has occurred a few times since my post.

I have uploaded Voyager_GUI_v2b16.rar. Update your Voyager_GUI.dll with this one and let me know if it solves the irresponsive knobs problem.
