Not currently, no.
We are working on it, if you absolutely require automap,
please wait until the update.

So no Cuckoo phenomenon?

Hi David

Cool Cuckoo bloke!

No Cuckoo phenomenon here so far (not sure which Ableton version he is on but I see he says he will try 8.05 (which was a massive 3 month bug fest by Ableton)

I'm managing however to make Chipsounds go cuckoo on 8.05 (sounds just like a busy arcade on a Saturday morning ;) ) and just spent a few hours with Beta 1 of 8.08 and no problems.

I'm fairly punishing Chipsounds, all 8 parts on the go, wave sequences, multiple cc's on every track, keyswitching, chip/wave switching all on the fly along with polyphony setup on each track all whilst Chipsounds is playing and getting stuffed with note data. Its been really solid so far.I'm not using my midi KB with what I'm doing right now just mouse and notebook keyboard.

I'm afraid to tell you, just how wicked I think this synth is, for drums and percussive sounds.

Cool.

ARIA's been stress-tested in many DAWs because of Steinway/GPO4, but Live is not the typical host for users of such libraries, so its a VERY good thing to know.

I don't know why..."

I think it's because so many synths cover the same ground. Chipsounds doesn't.
Swing is the difference between a drum machine and a sex machine.

Decent, in-depth review - I have to say though, I like the gui as it is. It seems to fit the hardware it's emulating.

What about a demo version? And how many presets are in?

+1

actually, the waveformless review is the second, or third review I have read where the blogger complains about the GUI.

I think people are being negative, just to be negative.

Seriously.

The GUI fits the synth. I like the GUI too..
