Just mention "KVR thread" in your paypal form and I then I'll know that you've read this thread. I'll post here how many reduced subscriptions are left.

So I decided to bundle a big bunch of my Absynth 5 patches into a "best-of absynthsounds.com"-collection and sell them as a Sound Bank on patchpool. In a few day this Pack containing 68 patches and +800 MB of original samples will be available for 14.95€ - a detailed pdf will follow asap.
The donation scheme on absnythsounds.com will stay as it is for now, a website revamp is due for this month as well. Also lot's of single patches are waiting to be released, just have to find the time to finish those.

These are some impressive sounds.
As for the donation, I'm trying to see if I have this right.
If I make a donation to the site, I get to download all of the current Absynth 5 patches.
Does the donation allow me to get future ones as well?

Yes, it's like an unlimited subscription for all current and future sounds. The obligatory donation scheme exists because some users actually donate several times and more than they have tojsp1979 wrote:These are some impressive sounds.

As announced yesterday, my Sound Bank Best of absynthsounds.com Vol.1 is now available for download at patchpool. Here are the details:
Sound Bank Best of absynthsounds.com
This Sound Bank is the first "best of"-collection of sounds Simon programmed for Absynth 5 and published on his website absynthsounds.com since Decembre 2009.
The sounds included in this Bank cover a wide range of ambient Soundscapes, Pads, Drones and more experimental sounds as you can hear in the demos. Many of the patches are sample based and make use of the new features introduced in Absynth 5 which are the Cloudfilter, Aetherizer, Super Comb and Filter Feedback.
Most patches have many if not all available Macros assigned, you can find more detailed infos about each patch, the licence agreement and installation instructions in the pdf.
This Sound Bank contains 903 Megabyte of wav samples recorded and produced at 48Khz/24 Bit.
NOTE: This Sound Bank requires Absynth 5, the patches will not load in any previous version.
The price for this Sound Bank is 14.95 €, after your purchase you will receive the download links for the RAR-file (603 MB download size in total).
Processing your order can take a few hours as this is performed manually.
Product Page including a Soundcloud demo widget.
Thank's for reading
Simon

There is another new patch for Absynth 5 available on absynthsounds.com:
Granular Growl
Couldn't post the demo yet as the Soundcloud uploads seem to be broken since last night...
EDIT: Demo is now up there, the SoundClouders finally got their stuff together...

I guess you mean the patchpool website, in which case I have to agree.stanlea wrote:Nice site, though I find the blue background a little too bright.
A little bit more contrast between the text and the background wouldn't hurt.
The new absynthsounds.com website is nice though.
Cheers
