Exactly. Everybody should wait and see if Crysonic's new attitude will endure before lining up to genuflect. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice..........

But everything seems to be going well so far. Free plugins are flowing so wait and see it is indeed.

Not my experience so far - I wrote to them twice today and repeated my issues that Spectralive 3,5 exhibits in Wavelab. This is an issue I have written to them several times about but they never responded. Not a single word.

My suggestion is simply either fix the issues or refund the money paid.

Just handing out some plugins for free is not support, it's rather marketing or damage-control as somebody said earlier in this thread.

I know they're in Australia which could be part of the reason why I haven't heard anything yet, but if they don't respond tomorrow, I'm afraid we're back to the old issue of bad [or rather no] support.

Until then I will give them the benefit of the doubt...

... and I thought we were getting a new plugin from Crysonic called 'Apology'....

working fine here in wavelab, looks like a problem on your end, which they won't be able to fix

This is the only limiter on my system that can't limit - and I have tried many! Try make comparisons between realtime listening and rendered files [they don't come out the same].

Anyhow I'm waiting for Crysonics response, let's see what happens when they dig into the matter.

they have demo version of their plugins. why don't you try before you buy?

It was an upgrade from an earlier version - I had no reason to believe it wasn't compatible with Wavelab.
I don't understand why some here seem to defend bad support. Crysonic have [or hopefully have had] very bad support, not taking customers seriously, they admit it themselves in the beginning of this thread. The question is will they do what it takes to change it, we have to wait and see.

My view is simple: Stop supporting companies that don't support their customers!

With this I will leave this thread until I have news from Crysonic

We apologize for the delay as you can imagine we had many responses and
getting back to everyone in order of support requests for the free plugin.

Please understand that this thread is not for individual plug-in support issues, we have just sent you an e-mail regarding your issue with wavelab.
not taking customers seriously
We would not have posted this thread and offer free plugins as a gesture of goodwill and sincerity to every one of our customers even though 99% of them are very happy if we didn't take it seriously. I do however admit we should have done this sooner. There is no need to be rude and above all 'defamatory' I thing you can see that we are doing the best we can.

Done what sooner, though?? You don't seem to realise that the people who are annoyed will still be annoyed if they don't get what they were promised in the first place.

I just received an email with my product I requested. For what it's worth, I bought SpectraLive when it came out and I was happy with the product, I never anticipated a native version, since the original worked for me. I got a bit cautious when the reports of people not being treated as they should came out, but all the communication I've done with Crysonic has been fast and informative.

I just received a response to my support concern, and a free license to SPECTRALIVE NXT, all within mere hours of emailing support. There 'are' a few issues with the nXtasy and SpectraPhy LE plugs, mostly superficial, but they sound great and Crysonic really does seem to be working very hard to ensure Customer satisfaction. Myself, I'm quite happy with them and I'm looking forward to checking out their new products...like Cryfusion!

Call it damage control, call it whatever you want. I think they, Crysonic, are trying to make good and it's not gonna happen overnight. And, they won't be abe to satisfy everyone -- it's not possible. I think even Jay used the words as a start.

While preparing the rant below I got my free SINDO license. It only took a few hours and I think it's pretty generous that even as a "no-brainer" customer vs. a traditional customer, I was extended the free offer.

I have also had a few simple support questions answered in the past 24 hours.
Considering the TimeZone differences and how hopping they must be I am satisfied that Crysonic will support me as good as any other vendor -- except Sony Creative. No love lost there and I choose that relationship.

(rant removed)

Maybe a better blog post, or topic in new thread .

Just got my bv2 bass plug (Nice freebee), was also one of Crysonics first customers buying Spectralive when it first came out. Service was quick, so far so good. Willing to see how they progress as a company.

All I can say is "WOW"...Spectralive is awesome! It offers almost unlimited subtle (or extreme) tonal variations, ALL of them sound more alive than the dry signal, and the CPU barely notices that anything is happening. Who could ask for more?

Thank you Crysonic!
