Hey ah-dziz are you stupid ???,
So because its a bug I am not allowed to change the pitch in polyphinc mode?
SO that also means no lfo and envelopes assignements to pitch .

This behavior is a trade off. It could be avoidable if all 320 partials are calculated in polyphonic mode. That would increase the CPU load to unacceptable levels: If a monophonic voice in high quality mode costs 20 % CPU, 6 voices of the same sound in polyphonic mode would cost 120% (6x20%) CPU.gentleclockdivider wrote:huge bug ...
disable all effetcs , and safe bass section and all the rest , just keep the basic osc , set it to saw .
Now set razor to poly mode , now sweep the master pitch up to down while pressing a note , sweeep to -44 semitones ( keep note pressed down), notice how the basic saw tone has this awfull noisy charachter , if you release the note and press it again , that noisy overtone has dissapeared .
Before anyone asks , no the quality setting don't make it dissappear.
This only happens in poly mode, and I thinkit has to do something with partials getting out of phase when sweeping the pitch in poly mode .
I wrote in the manual about the quality control:
"...usually only partials which are below 16 KHz are calculated. If the pitch stays the same during the time a note is held this doesn't make a big difference. But in case the note starts with a certain pitch and is pitched down afterwards phase artifacts might be heart. These can be interesting though. Only in monophonic mode and QUALITY set to high all 320 partials are calculated unconditionally."
