Regardless of how the project is going I still think its quite unfair on other developers who respect Kvr and don't spam the board every five minutes with smalltalk of work in progress.

Imagine if everytime a developer updated a knob or knocked out a small series of audio demos to demonstrate their synth and felt the need to post, pretty soon this place would descend into a spam fest.
The fact the synth is very much in the design stages and hasn't even got a working gui suggests that you've jumped the gun a little.

If indeed this is a serious project why not request a section in the company forums here? that way those that are interested in your work can easily follow it.

If its going to be another free synthedit giveway project then there's the synthedit threads here too. (Modular Synthesis)

You know this is KVR, right? I'm not sure which devs you're referring to that don't take every opportunity to prime the pump every waking moment with "news" about this or that product in development.

And at least this is confined to one thread. Biggest offender lately, IMHO is IK (full disclosure-I own ALL of their .vst/.vsti products) with constant yammering in any number of forums about 'guess what we're up to?' Prior to the release of the iRig, they actually put up a series of photo fragments (a piece of cable, a knob, etc.) to get us to 'guess' what the fuss was about.

I'm not a huge fan of this type of marketing, but I certainly wouldn't discourage any dev from doing what they need to to attract attention and goose sales in a very competitive market.

Well you are obviously creating sounds with something - show us a screenshot of what you are using - not this poorly cobbled together non functional graphic. Your statement that you "can't show the interface else if release" is a poor argument

The attention is there but the people will lose it soon if this goes on this way.

Only you can prove it real - I cannot. A working demo would accomplish this....so time will tell if you are real or not. What you've put forth so far certainly reserves for me the right to skepticism.

you know... I agree with you.. we were told too early about CELL. We hope to do before but finalizing a lot of minuses every day. And we have little free time. I am writing a thesis and Andrew working on their work. But we take the time and working on CELL and want to produce a quality product... Out of it to us, we are working on our synthesizer. And no you do not lie! Just Imagine yourself just at our place! I do not argue! we rushed..
