Got my mac version yesterday. Got 2 emails about it actually.
I was trying to push it to the extreme, but it's a much more subtle effect than say TB Reelbus. I was hoping the the wow would yield a bit more of a pitch fluctuation, but I don't really see much effect on pitch, even at extremes of lofi. I like the compression setting though, that's nice. Nice effect, but fairly subtle.

I remember the wow being pretty drastic if you cranked it, but I seem to recall it had to be at the right setting...can't remember now.

Just move the delay time in realtime/automation and you can program any extreme wow effect and shape you want.
The wow knob introduces realistic model of a good working machine. Not for special effect but for frequency blurring...
Sending another lot of licenses out now...
The next fix (some days) will be a lot smoother, on the last files and links.

Woo hoo! Got mine! Thanks, Quinto!!
Question: I noticed that when my synced delay time says "1/1", it's actually playing 1/4 notes. Does that sound right?

Well, once again, all this time was spent because the data needed organisation. It will be smoother.
About timing: if I'm not wrong it is right (
), fractions of beats? Probably it is usually fractions of measures??
At everybody: collecting suggestions about more values for the synched delay... a fast fix is needed for this release, so we can take advantage of it to add some more (fast and straight) features there (1/2 is missing... what else is useful?)

Just sent some special custom compiles for Mac ppc users (we cannot pay because Apple left Motorola
)
Let me know if they run smoothly!

This is a fabulous update as it is but there are always possible improvements. I am a fan of asymmetric delays on two channels (eg 3 vs 4 and 3 vs 2 synched units - 8ths or 16ths) with feedback controls for each channel and across channels. This might exceed what is possible with Roundtone but perhaps we can get a dedicated tape delay up with all these controls.quintosardo wrote:Well, once again, all this time was spent because the data needed organisation. Yes, that's right, a full featured delay unit is coming (asymmetric delays, several processing modes on the feedback loop, limited number of echoes, etc. etc.).
I'm trying to keep this one simple so anything can go inside that menu without making it too long, and in a sequence.
E.g.:
1/8
1/4
(1/2)
3/4
1/1
5/4
3/2
(7/4?)
etc...

I'm fine with a list like that, as long as 1/8 = 8th notes.quintosardo wrote:egbert wrote:This is a fabulous update as it is but there are always possible improvements. Normally, I'd like a dotted-note menu, but I can't remember my divisions - does one of those represent a dotted note?

I forgot
1/3
1/6

A dot adds one half to the note, so 1/4 + dot = 2/8 + 1/8 = 3/8

Right, that's it, thanks! I think I would have to have dotted, at least 3/8, which is the most common for "dub" delays.quintosardo wrote:I forgot

Also, IMHO, the delay isn't long enough for my needs. For example, if I wanted to do my "Pink Floyd" whole-note echo, I can't do that with this. I don't think I can even get a quarter-note right now (if I'm being picky, in the interest of feedback (no pun intended)).
