How exactly do you switch off the GUI?
In REAPER, just click the UI button.

Post

I only know REAPER and there you just press the UI button.

Heh you beat me to it.

But if most were able to get Minimoog-V, what do we think about putting it on? Too much moog lately? One thing is that a lot of people not normally doing the challenge might want to try, especially now that the buzz is still going on. And in my opinion still one of the best freeware, and likely to be stable which will be a welcome change. No modulation editing is the drawback, but can always do a lot of that with DAW or other plugin automation.

looking for other farmers/musicians (if possible with traktor or another maschine;) to help out in the harvest/mix and to tame/master the pigs/peaks;) :help:

btw, I missed Arturias free Minimoog-V offer; has anyone an activation code to share, so I can take part in next OSC...

Cheers,

No such button in FL's wrapper. I mean, I can close the plugin window, but then there are no controls available, let alone any extras. And the parameters available for MIDI linking are just the ones on the GUI, so...

Guess I'm just S.O.L. for finding any extra controls. :(

I haven't found any way to disable the GUI in Sonar either, but I found out that I can access these extra parameters as track envelopes, so I can just set them at the desired value at the beginning of the track (or modify over time if needed) :hihi:

Probably in FL you will be able to access them in a similar way.

That's a good way of doing it, should work for most DAWs.

Here's my entry! At the beginning of the month I was looking for another DAW. I downloaded Podium Free, and this is my first big experiment with it. It's an absolutely perfect DAW for OSC projects!

Thanks and cool to try out Podium, would be interested what the ups and downs of that were?

A bit much Moog for me lately but I'd still be in, time permitting. And no offense to Minimogue VA/LUXUS, but the Moog V sounds absolutely amazing, maybe the extra parameters available beyond the GUI will make it one of the best! And there's a Mac version - if Jasinski had his alarm set we might be in for another stellar track. :-D

I was irritated with sequencing in REAPER for various reasons and went on a kick trying to find a different DAW to use at one point; unfortunately, Podium has a 'minor' bug in Linux/Wine/WineASIO where it doesn't actually play back, though everything else seems to work just fine. It looks like a quite nice environment to sequence in... but I'm still holding out for Bitwig Studio, which has a few features that would likely make me a convert and claims Linux support!

Hi, I tried Podium now for about a week. Surprising what a freeware offers, a lot of functions and possibilities. But when I worked with the Minimogue and reached 6 tracks, the problems with changing sounds reocured. So I give up for this month. Maybe by PC does not like this VST.

I got Minimoog too.
It would have been hilarious to be spamming people "aggressively" thru private messages to get it yes or yes, and me not in the end... :hihi:

I was about to give up with the synth a couple of days ago, but i think i will continue my glitchy proyect (glitchy = issues, no dblue glitch hehe)
The title will be "Virtuous Bass-tard", so don't stole my awesome title. :hihi:

Have a good day :)

@Photonic and all Cubasers: apparently the issues I've experienced with Cubase 4 have been solved with the last Minimogue VA version... maybe it's worth a last try.
