Whoever said TI is a controller is joking.. Why don't you take a kore 2 controller unplug it from your computer and play something.. Also why would a TI need analog outs if it was just a controller ... Get your facts straight

Some people are either liars or have more money than sense.
Not a liar. TI I bought because I miss it a lot! I bought a used desktop. Nowhere near over a thousand pounds. The diva is a tottaly different animal it is a soft synth and it sounds nothing like a ti I like a variety. As far as analog I will not buy any others, TI is appealing to me because of the VA and being able to automate. I mostly work out of a box. As far as zebra it sounds though not as fat to my eats as TI or deva but it has a ton of presets and many are useful. And it's $200.
I have a huge palate of sounds samples and soft synths and I will keep buying. The ones I don't use I sell, and I sold enough these
Last two month to cover the TI:)

So calling someone you don't know a liar is pretty stupid. This forum openness my eyes to u-he that I had no clue about and that alone was worth the efford..

So don't be either jealous or a jerk
Don't let it bother you. This forum has a large contingent of software users who love to hate on those of us who use hardware, or even both. I own Discovery Pro (somewhat of a Nord Lead emulation) yet when I found a bargain priced 2x Rack I jumped on it. Do I have too much money? Maybe, but at $600 it wasn't like I had to sell a kidney. Am I a liar? At one time I probably stated that working ITB was the best thing since sliced bread... but now I've found that I can get really good bread... better tasting bread but I have to slice it myself... and the slicing part is actually rewarding. No sin in adapting to what ever works best for you. Hell, I think the dudes who are still working with magnetic tape are crazy but why cut them down if they're happy?

Oh I'm not bothered by it, people talk and that's fine with me. Maybe that will help them sleep better at night. And that would be a good thing:) I make decisions based on my experience and I got lots of good feedback here, enought to dowoad few demos and decide if that the route I'm going. People use different things depending on what they are doing and their skill set and setup. Why would I be upset if someone doesn't completely understand what it is I want...
Remember ignorance is bliss:) but for me it would be stupid to ignore the wow factor I got from the TI. Even though I got less of it from zebra and diva, given their price point they are more than worth their sticker price and I find them sound usefull as well.. So I'm going to give them a serious consideration after I figure out just how much new material I have with the TI. With the sheer amount of plugs I already have I'm cleaning house before I'll buy something else

They are fantastic and have a unique character. If you want a Virus emulations . . . get that company to make a good virtual version. If you want a good virtual synth . . . Rob Papen's stuff is fantastic; U-he stuff is top quality. AAS has a super sound; Sonic Charge is innovative; DiscoDSP has their own fab sound, etc.

In short, I think it's best to find great sounding gear that has it's own thing going on. Remember The Knack? Yeah, they were the next Beatles. Remember Oasis? Them too! Can anyone sing an Elvis song better than Elvis? Bono cannot, but does that mean Elvis is was better than Bono?

funny but I agree with you completely I treat
My synths like an artist
Treats his colors. No color shall be better than the other, rather the artist knows wich one to use at a given moment!
