Just to get a more positive vibe going on in this thread:

I love the new Density version :)

It can do some wonderful things to the stereo image, especially in combination with TesslaPro and BaxterEQ :)

Thanks again Herbert! :tu:

Cheers

If having something useful to say about the topic at hand was a requirement, KvR would collapse!

See? I've done it, right here. This thread has an exceedingly small amount of useful information in it, so I don't really feel wrong in "polluting" it.

There is useful info, it's just that it could be summed up in less than a page.

I don't know why both sides can't just let it lay. Is it really that important to be "right" about this? I can guarantee neither side will ever be able to convince the other.

This is the kind of crap that makes Herbert stay away from here.

Edit: Sorry Bronto. Didn't mean to crap on your positive vibe.
In an effort to keep it going: I love the new Density. I'm still coming to grips with what it can do. It seems very different from Mk2 to me.

Well, I'm doing my best to be positive. Believe me, it's not an easy thing to do when people keep attacking you 'cause they think they're the kvr police.

Of course, none of this would have occurred, if Herbert had laid out the details in a less cryptic language.

Now that he hasn't, we have nothing better to do than speculate on the uncertainties and get aggressive for no reason.

But I like it, this is stimulating!!! Gives me a lot to think about, and I like to think...

You should try thrillseeker LA, its my most favorite freeware plugin ever.
It reminds me a lot of the CL2B by softube especially on the "swedish Clean" preset. Its great for instruments as it can be very gentle and yet Dynamic at the same time.
Remember you told me about anger, so I listened and it helped out. Dont go around looking for trouble because all too often its there waiting for you. What I mean is if you come to the KVR forum with an attitude expecting all the arguments and ready for it, its like pouring petrol on a fire. I had a disagreement with someone on one forum and they waited for me to make one assertion on another forum and started to break it all down and yet again insult me for being too stupid and so on. I like your posts so be a bit more careful because sometimes people will try to drag you into these things just to get you angry and fired up specifically with the intention of getting you banned. They wont use prophanity or threats, just enough childish provocations to get you to post one thing that will ultimately end up with you getting banned. You already had one warning and I for one would like to see you stay. its nice to have someone who isnt afraid to speak their minds regardless of all the "nitwits" you will encounter. PEACE as you said to me. :)

I think he came to KVR not expecting arguments, but expecting to be catered to, and expectant was the way he came across.

It doesn't take police of any kind, it just takes common sense to deduce that that's an inappropriate attitude when you have given and will continue to give nothing in return for what you expect.

I've long wanted Big Tick to make a modification to the free Zen plug-in that I really think it lacked, but when he didn't seem to understand what I was trying to convey (in terms of the importance, he understood what I wanted) the first time, I dropped it and waited quite a while. The second time I asked, a few days ago, he quickly understood and now says he will implement it in a future update.

This is the way you approach developers when they are kind enough to give something valuable away for free, you don't hover over them tapping your foot.

That's really all there is to say about this subject.

Sheesh, you seem to have a professional internet troll on your tail! Remember, you have to disable them and then use fire or acid on the weakened body. That will get rid of them for good.

On the topic of thrillseekerLA, it really does get along with instruments. Where Density fails to make an impact, thrillseekerLA does the job.

I have tried it but not much, thus far I'm focusing extensively on Density. But yes, I am aware that Thrilseeker is also worthy of attention.

I'm glad my comment has helped you!

To A.M.Gold and others: my questions were initially not directed specifically at Herbert, as I didn't know he was around. I just wanted to have some info from anyone with knowledge about these subjects. Seeing that he was around, I tried to sum them up for convenience. Whether he wants to answer or not is entirely up to him.

But I can't stop asking myself, what is your contribution to this thread, guys? Mmmmm?

+1, perhaps it was just a personal disagreement or even genuine argument, but its sometimes the way people refer to things. Thanks, Im going to have to stop whining because Im starting to sound like a proper cry baby :(

I hope that these great Bootsy plugs will one day be 64-bit too, cause I hate to bridge things on my 64-bit system - there are always problem with bridging in Reaper (at least for me). Till then I have to pass on this one.

Post

They will be 32 bit as long as synthmaker stays 32 bit, or until Bootsy goes completely native code/C++/compiled/Juce etc. with his GUIs.

So many questions remain unanswered.

I just got to try this, I love how it sounds but if I hit by bypass on Samp when I return from bypass it kills all the audio...not just the track it's on but all the audio and I have to reboot samp. I have never has this problem before

So, no one wants to play in this thread anymore? Too bad...

OK, I'll make one last try: make one complaint and ask one question. Here it goes:

Complaint: The lack of readouts for all parameters is a serious drawback. Take Makeup Gain for example: no readout in the GUI, and when I try to automate it, the host measures it in percent. What use is that? I want to know it in dB, it's only usable in dB!!!

Question: Back to the 'topic' of 3D-fication... How do you achieve the up-down axis in [allegedly] 3D audio coming from a set of stereo speakers?

Not wanting to troll or anything, but I've seen this on Herbert's last blog post:
