thats what I get in the shop. But on the main page it specifically gives pricing for "Upgrade to Live 9 Suite" and "Upgrade to Live 9 Standard".

Me neither but it definitely said upgrade and get 9 suite free when it's out so they had better stand by that.

Mine says that too. I never went with v.8 from v.7 + Sampler, and both standard and suite will be a free up to v.9.

I emailed them about this too, although they are probably getting enough mail about it already

... Just pointed out that keeping that info up on their site is only doing them a massive disservice if they intend to price it more reasonably. Hah, I mean, if it asks me to log in and then says "your best upgrade offer: 199e", it kind of gives the impression of being... my best upgrade offer. Yeah.

Another new strategy seems to be "play hide and seek to notice that the company actually has any forums." There's no link to the Ableton Forum anywhere on the new site. When asked about it, this was the answer:

"we removed the link to the forum as people weren't really using it. The majority of forum users get here either via Google search or via a bookmark link."

Must be a joke? Although to the multiple questions in the vein of "Are you serious?" the answer was "No, really, it's just a change. Thanks for your feedback - we'll take it into account." Is that guy really an Ableton representative?

Where are you seeing this? I own live 8 suite and max for live and I don't see an upgrade price..

Where are you seeing this? I own live 8 suite and max for live and I don't see an upgrade price..

you have to log in to your account and they'll tell you your upgrade price.

my guess is it's $234

Even though Push looks awesome in every way I've seen thus far, I intend to make one of these before Live-9 comes out.

That M4L comes with Live-9 Suite now, is a real plus.
