11/11/2014 : Xils-Lab has announced that the Xils 3 V2, and Xils 4, will now be available with Soft Ilok Protection, wich means no more hardware dongle required.( Note : hw dongle protection remains available for those who prefer it this way )

What about existing ZILS 3/4 ilok licenses?

Can they be converted?

Yes they can be converteded, but Ilok charges for that, so I think Xils-Lab will charge the minimum for the conversion ie approx what it cost to them. They will probably communicate about that in the next few days. With the promo sales one can get the Xils 3 for 109 instead of 149 iirc. Now with or without dongle protection.
