Oh nice! If i guess If i wanted a maschine MK2 i could tell them to match my price from sweetwater.hibidy wrote:http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Maschine2BK
The prices here in canada are a bit higher but they do match US retailer prices.
I got that price from Tomlee Music which is one of the big name music stores here in canada.

I think they are slow to update their website. I dunno how it really works with them haha. I usually scour either that site or Long and Mcquade which is are other big name music store and then i'll match prices from both. I usually find myself buying from L&M though since they are much more friendlier.

When I bought my MK1, I got Long and McQuade (in Vancouver) to match a sale price from Steve's Music in TO. Sales guy told me I was getting it cheaper than he got his with his employee discount.

I just did a quick comparison from the three sites.
Tom Lee Price : 599.99
http://www.tomleemusic.ca/index.php/162692.html
Steves Music Price : 629.00
http://www.stevesmusic.com/dj/software- ... mkii-black
L&M Price : 628.95

Looks like Tom lee recently dropped their prices since I took that screenshot.

$950 seems a bit excessive though, i thought the highest prices were Australia. I think mkII was $599 from release or it dropped soon after, the 30 extra seems more in line!

T minus 2 days. I have a mikro and I'll no doubt upgrading the software. For €99 it's a no brainer. I get prism, scarbee e-piano and the thing I'm most interested in (besides the actual maschine software) - Solid Buss Comp. All in all I think it's a worthy upgrade. Considering I got the original Mikro for €230 I think all up it's been a good investment for me. I never truly loved the maschine software and the promised software upgrades look like they solve most of the workflow issues I had.

The new drum synths alone is worth the cost of the upgrade for me. I'm glad that they brought something new with physical modeling of both acoustic and electronic drums and not just another redundant virtual analog drum synth.kev2525 wrote:T minus 2 days.
