Depending on whether you're on the left or on the right, the morph takes A or B as starting point and shapes it to become the other; this does introduce some weighting between the contributions of the two, yes.

Morphing one of my Serum sequencers with one of my Tremor beats and a Tuvan vocal sound from one of my libraries.

Very nice example...
If I may ask, what library is the Tuvan vocal from ?

Thanks, the throat singing is from my Alchemy library MetaVox.

Thanks, shame it's discontinued...
Can't really think of another synth with sample loading other than padshop...
But I guess the library contains raw samples.

But to get back on topic, I've been waiting for a plug that does Morphing, as Kyma is way beyond my budget and needs.
The first tests I did last night where very promissing, will be doing some serious testing tonight, might record some snippets :) :phones:

It's not, who said so, just look here. (EDIT: I see, you mean Alchemy is discountinued...)

There is also a SoundPack with those samples.

I ment Alchemy ;)

If not, what DAW are you using?

OK see that now - will have to try the SC version.

I've been mainly using Live 9 though it is really easy to wire up in Max7 (VST GUI doesn't display though!)

Want to get it working in Tracktion but haven't quite worked out how to do the side-chain thing yet - the Live method should work.

Morphing one of my Tremor beats with one of my Diversion sequencers (and vice versa)

That’s nuts!

So Simon, how do you like Morph so far? Did you get a license or not yet and you're still demoing it?

I'll get my license once the demo expires, my expectations are somewhat fulfilled, not fully, but I think it's totally worth it. Once you get to know it, you know which sound combinations will yield interesting or even spectacular results and which combos won't work out. I wish there were some more in depth controls, I'm not a big fan of one-knob-apps usually.

If the response is good and the money is there, maybe they gonna put more time and energy on it and keep improving it. Hopefully. Anyhow, it's a very unique tool, for sure.

This is a fabulous tool.
Any chance of a resizable GUI ?

I've been eyeballing that complete Alchemy collection alot lately, dammit. :)

Simon- I was immediately interested in this plug after hearing your vid of strings to female voice (or was it ebow to voice?). That was amazing. A great example of two sounds that morph togther well.

I got the demo set up and working tonight. Thank you Denis for putting instructions for setting up in Cubase. It was my first time setting up a quad group channel. Once I figured out the panning, I had two stereo channels feeding in and was off to the races. No time left to create anything cool tonight, but what I tried worked nicely. The weekend starts tomorrow! This one is on my radar. :tu:
