I think Reaktor 6 will be in K11 and Kontakt 6 in K12.

unless they add something absolutely magic (Reaktor and Reaktor based stuff doesn't come close to qualifying), Kontak 6 = next time I upgrade Komplete.

NI won't include Kontakt 6 in K11. From a business point of view it just ain't profitable.
They'll probably release it some time after K11, milk it from stand-alone & update sales
and only afterwards it will be ready to be included in this bargain priced bundle.

OK, so if Kontakt 6 won't be included in Komplete 11 / Komplete 11 Ultimate, will their most popular Synths/Instruments, or at least the majority of them be upgraded in K11/Ult., or maybe some brand new Instruments and Synths will pop up in K11/Ult. ?

If the answer to this is No, then I will surely skip Komplete 11/11 Ulti., since I have lots of great Kontakt based third-party Libraries to keep me busy for a long time to come.

...doesn't look like it - Absynth, Massive, FM8, Guitar Rig - they all look the same. But for some a Kontakt update and the new Reaktor plus some new content might be enough for a new Komplete.

I skipped K9 and K10.
As of now it looks like I will be skipping K11.

What a nonsense. You can also then say making Komplete packages is also not-profitable.

It is profitble even starting to sell at the same time with K11 in the package. Only difference how profitable.

it is not like the libraries are going to stop working because kontakt 6 has been released.

People will wait until it is included in Komplete.

I'm one of those who are most probably waiting to upgrade until the new Kontakt is in. And even with that, I will not be in any hurry: Kontakt 6 will become an issue only after there's a sampling product out there that requires it, and is so interesting I feel the need to purchase the new Kontakt for.

That will be a shame, if indeed it comes to pass.

Based on the MF leak, K11 looks like a good one to skip for K10 users at least, but I guess that's usually the way - skip every other update.

Kontakt 5 has already all I want.
Guitar Rig 6 is what I like to see.

I love the integration with machine and komplete kontrol.
Use it every working day...

I'd like to see GR6 too, but it has to be done right. If the upgrade from 5 to 6 is as unremarkable as 3 to 4 or 4 to 5, then I don't see the point.

Reaktor 6 is not part of Komplete 10/Komplete 10 Ultimate. That's why I'm sticking with version 9 Ultimate until the new version is released.

I dunno, looks like a decent upgrade to me. I'll never understand why people want to add effects to Kontakt, making it more resource heavy. Don't you have effects in your DAW?

So what's going to be in the Non Ultimate version?

Here's the list ordered so that most likely to be in the standard version are on top, least likely below. Products above the top line should make it into standard. Products below the bottom line I expect will be in ultimate only. Those in the middle may or may not.
