It wasn't because of anything in that particular thread; there have been many through the years.
The reason for banning is:
Too many broken promises, too many unaddressed issues

After 3 emails that weren't responded to trying to figure out why I wasn't getting what I paid for, I cut my losses and just took myself off his list. Definitely a scammer or a non-scammer who is just completely incompetent.

It was less than $20. Although you could argue that it is the principle of the thing, I figure if by telling others the dude is a fraud, I can cost him way more than $20.

The shame of it all is that I actually got some things several years ago and actually quite liked 2 of them. The NXT Spectralive really could sparkle up a dull mix. Despite other's warnings, I went back into the water so the last time the shark bit me.

I'm sorry... but you should get your money back and I believe it should be easy to do so since they haven't provided you anything.

You could have your $20 and still tell others that this is a fraud.

There's plenty of people that could put that $20 to good use. Spend it on a charity you approve of, if you don't mind giving away $20.

Anyway, back to i don't understand this guy.. why would he in all good conscience continue the same business model and level of "support" OVER 10 YEARS later? You would really think someone could get it together by then.

I know he's a douche but he's even shocked me with the latest one of not actually delivering products.

I have to disagree that their plugins are "shyte" though..

NewB, n3xtasy, sindo, spectralive are all really rather good. I would happily spend 18 bucks for 18 plugins if i knew for sure they would deliver and had changed their attitude. But it only seems to be getting worse and worse.

Yup I remember that. I even bought a plugin (and I think I received two free ones also) at that time.

I really liked nXtasy v3. And same if it were real I would gladly pay too.

Honestly, I was hoping that all this would be a real offer. Sad to see to it sink to new depths.

I was surprised by their positive ratings, but some spammers seem to get people to rate them positively at WOT. Still, I would recommend rating them at WOT. Chances are it will have an impact on their behavior.
