you can laugh at my attempts to make music on https://www.twitch.tv/rghvdberg
last session was just figuring out how to use my android phone as a midi controller
ssj71 made a little app for that (linux of course)

Why on earth would they hide that? Looked all over for a pan mod. Gotta remake my patch nowChris-S wrote:Tip: PAN modulation.
There is a hidden destination in the mod matrix: VCA pan.
To activate: browse through the presets and choose a patch which uses this feature. Use this as your init patch.
When you found the patch with VCA1: Pan,Chris-S wrote:Tip: PAN modulation.

Seems I don't have a "lock" feature. Is this specific to a DAW?sfiks wrote:When you found the patch with VCA1: Pan,Chris-S wrote:Tip: PAN modulation.

I know exactly your feeling of incredulity.TrojakEW wrote:37 instances of Tyrell? How? My computer have problem with 15 instances. Audio buffer set to max and still almost 100% CPU usage. Do you have access to new unreleased procesors like i8
You'll just have to get the pattern and sound right, then FREEZE! Then at least you have the sound of Tyrell to then work your next tracks against - then when that sound is not quite right in the mix (bound to be the case eh???), then you have to go back to the MIDI+Tyrell and re-tweek and freeze again ... this is just where I am with my odd track ... but it's getting thereTaron wrote:Right now I have to resort to "painting" many of my patterns, with live playing only as a starting point, but the real trouble is the playback, of course
Yeah, it does tend to surpriseAll of this aside: Man, Tyrell has a really interesting sound and you can get some very unique instruments with it. I'm having a noteworthy amount of fun with it.
