Testing 1.3.1. Couple of issues.
1. Shimmer algorithm has a weird beating effect. Volume sounds like it's being modulated by a constant sine LFO. Listen here: https://voca.ro/1cQuztAYCmb7
2. While both Pitch knobs in Shimmer are set to 0, Mod does nothing, Diffuse affects the modulation of the tail to a certain extent. Seems to work normally if either of the pitch knobs are set to something other than 0.
3. Issue 2 from this post is still happening. viewtopic.php?f=177&t=574647
Not an issue, but having arrows to move through the algorithms (besides the drop-down menu) feels like it would make sense.

Does that happens when any of the Pitch knobs is set to 0? If so, it's likely that beating was been "hidden" the whole time by the low frequency build up that was happening earlier.Inspiron wrote: Mon Feb 14, 2022 10:51 pm Testing 1.3.1. Couple of issues.

That's strange. I can clearly hear the modulation happening when both Pitch knobs are at 0. It's a bit subtle, but is there.2. Is that happening when the transport is stopped? If so, that means that your DAW is stopping the plugin from processing audio if the transport is stopped. That happens on Logic Pro too. Unfortunately, the GUI update relates on the parameter updates... and parameters are updated in the DSP processing portion of the plugin. If your DAW stops the processing and you change that menu value, this won't be reflected because the GUI doesn't know that parameter has been changed so any GUI element that is not manually moved (knobs, switches and so on) won't get updated.3. Yes, it's happening whatever the pitch knobs are set to. In the example audio the pitch knobs were at 0.Audiority wrote: Tue Feb 15, 2022 4:54 pmDoes that happens when any of the Pitch knobs is set to 0? When pitch knobs are set at 0 increasing the Diffusion increases the modulation somewhat. So you can get some modulation happening. The Mod knob doesn't seem to be able to affect anything though (to my ears at least). That's strange. I can clearly hear the modulation happening when both Pitch knobs are at 0. I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing? The labels for the knobs are reverting back to their defaults if I "improperly" close the plugin GUI. (Actually it looks like it now happens even if I close it by clicking the x in the GUI. Wasn't like that before.) Happens whether or not the transport is playing. Is that happening when the transport is stopped? Ok, so blocking the pitch shifter when pitch is at 0 also stops its modulation. I'll try to find another way to block the pitch shifter while allowing modulation and avoiding that low frequency build up.Inspiron wrote: Tue Feb 15, 2022 9:06 pm Yes, it's happening whatever the pitch knobs are set to. About the GUI, I'll force a screen update when the GUI is opened. This should permanently avoid the label mismatch.
