I'm having so much fun with the existing sequencers at the moment. I can't wait to play with the new modular. I have a method when I'm creating presets - it's called mad experimenting!

Thank goodness this isn't a real electrical circuit or I would have blown all the fuses in my apartment by now.

@Kirsty , Great thanks for the new version ( I wait impatiently ) . you're going to have a lot of work: I have other module ideas

(Portamento/Glissando - new FX like : 3bandsEQ , compressor , Waveshaper like that of " synthedit " )

Note: Can U add "empty bank" in Bank folder to the next update ?

Hi Jeff

Maybe try this...
For Portamento I put a slew module between the Midi2CV and oscillator CV in.
For Glissando add a quantizer with amount set to 0.83 to above.
Waveshaper sounds interesting. Note: v0.980 has a Wave Folder

Added 'Clear Bank' to file menu. You will get a warning first as it wipes the entire bank.

I made some great sequence's using the new Modular Sequencer but after standing in a queue for
50mins at my local supermarket just to buy spaghetti and loo roll I came back in a foul mood

So, stupid me, not thinking straight, when I started up Analogy I accidentally deleted my backup file
of presets

The result is v0.980 only has some more factory presets including my selection of Jeff and Erisian's
contribution.

Analogy Updated to v0.980

New modules added...

Effect: M022 Signal Clipper
Constrain signals to upper and lower limits

Effect: M029 Wave Folder
Bend waveforms or other signals back on themselves to create new harmonically rich waveshapes.
Upper and lower limits can be independently set or modulated by LFOs, Envelopes, Oscillators or any
other control signal in real time.

Sequencer: M124 Modular Sequencer
A powerful modular sequencer with upto 8 steps per module.
Can be linked in a chain with other instances of itself to create long sequences of varying length.

Some changes and updates to the core code.
As usual, please let me know of any issues so I can improve it.

Yes, I already tested it . ( it's light

)

about the K35 filter (M039), I made a preset ( with same value for each knob), to compare with mini monosynth Filter : result , sound is different ( K35 is better

) , no very important, but good to know .
About module " signal router " , i don't really know its function ( for CV or Audio signal

) . I plugged in 1 osc and the sound is different depending on the out . if I set knob to zero, there's bad sound up to value 3 or 4

K35 is better for me too. Haven't tested the signal router thoroughly yet but I have had no problems so far.

About your extra presets (44 ) : I put them in a bank , I noticed they are almost all mono ( one output )

... maybe you've one speaker only

. If U want, I can make " stereo version ( I think the sound is better )

I think the knob is a balance control. If you route a single signal, you can split it, for example, between two effects then decide how much of each you want. I was aware that you can do stereo but I didn't really see the point as you are going to pan the sounds when you do your final mix. If it sounds better though, maybe I'll start doing it.

Designed for CV but does process at audio rate.

Nope.

pictures to explain how most of the modules in Analogy are supposed to work.

I found a Little Trouble with Presets made in other Layouts.

Yeah, the modular sequencer was simple and it is great fun! It's difficult getting precise notes though - it would be easier if the values could be semitones rather than percentage, but I'm really happy with it.

I used to to have that problem too but for me it has been good in the latest version.
