Good song, but I notice you won't actually answer the questions

So far we know the only reason CLAP exists at this point is because it's more convenient for developers, but that's a smokescreen because they are still developing for VST3 so any extra development for CLAP is by definition wasted effort and not convenient, infact developing for CLAP is more complex and takes more resources over just VST3

Unless of course you don't know how software development actually works, then you think fragmentation and developing for multiple platforms for no reason is easier or something

But hey don't let facts get in the way of your music videos

EDIT: Hold on, let me rephrase that. Constantly replying to a troll supplies him with attention by keeping the thread bumped. There are more constructive alternatives.
I hate signatures too.

I agree like actually answering questions rather than posting music videos

So why don't you answer why developing for CLAP is easier in software development if you are going to develop for VST3 anyway?

If there was any possibility there was a dialogue going on you might be right. But there isnt, which is why all that really earned you was them ordering you to jump on demand, yet again.

Your call, though. Do you want to tell them about CLAP being designed specifically for sitting within code wrappers for other APIs? Because they probably wont understand it, and they definitely wont accept it.

You answered your own question there. This has already been explained ad nauseam to the anti-CLAP brigade.

They simply refuse to listen.

Wow again you miss the forest for the trees, that holds no bearing on end users who are currently using VST3 who supposedly are going to make the leap to CLAP for "reasons" you can't articulate other than supposedly that some developers find CLAP more convenient

Of course you wouldn't understand that for CLAP to actually become anything but an also ran you have to give people reasons to use it

"Use CLAP for your audio plugins because developers who are charging you hundreds of dollars find it more convenient" doesn't really have a ring to it

"Use CLAP because it's designed specifically for sitting within code wrappers for other APIs?" also doesn't really have a ring to it
