I think Slick EQ GE and Kotelnikov GE is a good place to start. They are dirt cheap on plugin boutique right now.Jac459 wrote: Thu Jan 11, 2024 7:22 am For me the big surprise is Tokyo Dawn, I never tried anything of them. What is their flagship plugin?

I just tried prism as it is free and very much like it.
But I already have a ton of EQ including the ones from kiloheartz, Fabfilter and minimal audio so I can't purchase a new one... But I'll monitor the brand for sure and try the Kotelnikov free version this week-end.

So it is a kind of food wine? Do I need to keep it in a cellar or something?DCrown wrote: Thu Jan 11, 2024 12:17 pmNo flagship, everything top notch imo.Jac459 wrote: Thu Jan 11, 2024 7:22 am For me the big surprise is Tokyo Dawn, I never tried anything of them. What is their flagship plugin?
A rare gem is TDR Feedback Compressor,
buy if you can get it second hand,
don't sell it before 2030,
then you will probably get an astronomically high price

u-he and Fabfilter are my top two. I love the quality and philosophy of these companies.
DMGaudio, TAL, TDR, ValhallaDSP, Tonebooster... there are many that can be said to be third, I can't pick one.
