I actually caved in and bought cinematic rooms. Not the pro version, the regular one. Might be the most expensive plugin I’ve bought for years (even with 15% loyalty code), and probably I’d gotten around with the other 20 reverb plugins i have, but boy is it beautiful 😍

I bought fabfilter twin2. :clown:

Be careful with so called "pre-sales",
just want to share what I ve found out.
There are bf pre-sales with reduced
prices and there could be bf sales in addition with even more reduced prices of the same products just a short time later, so it's not always good to be the early bird!
I am glad I didn't grab any Toontrack plugin or offer about two weeks ago!

It sure does. I have had similar rules for ages, and have so far only ever bought one product in one BF sale season. That was last year, so I'm probably good to pass this decade. :P

I've been more tempted by new products then by BF deals so far.
The loudness war is over, loudness has won

I wound up getting the $29 TC 8210 reverb with hardware controller, but that's it. (Aside from a couple of games on Steam that were on my wishlist waiting for a discount.) (edit: and I just snuck the Streichfett plugin in there too).

With the new Moogerfooger saturation and two Valhalla updates I still feel like I'm getting a lot of new goodies though, for when I get back from this road trip.

I gave into temptation. Fuse Audio Labs deviated me from my plan with their deep discounts.

Went to get Instinct and possibly Granulizer 2 at https://www.inertiasoundsystems.com/store/products/ but then I saw the bundle of three plugins at a price I could not resist. Well I did not resist. Very happy.

All my other Black Friday potential purchases remain as such.

With sales happening all of the time now, Black Friday/Cyber Monday doesn't have the same impact anymore...

The market is saturated and peeps are overwhelmed by the constant onslaught...

So unless something really special that turns up, I'll just wait and pick up things I want at one of the other weekly sales throughout the year 🌞
No auto tune...

Me too. Not sure I understand the signalling of ‘ I didn’t buy gear this week, I bought it in the other weeks’

Maybe we should genuflect 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is a thread about temptation, so I don't see it out of bounds for someone to say they were not tempted. However, a bit wrong-headed to think there are not some of the lowest (if not the lowest) prices of the year right now. Not in all cases (e.g. Voxengo), but my momma told me you better shop around.

Aye, that’s the part…

It’s just bantz 😜

Generally speaking I need lower prices on Black Friday to motivate me to purchase any software. Though my list was fairly long I have purchased very few plugins. Perhaps Cyber Monday pricing will motive me to spend $$.

Did the V Collection 9 upgrade for 99 USD and picked ADPTR SCULPT for $24.99. USD . I have enjoyed a few freebies as well. BF is a time when I splurge a bit on software. I’m close to pulling the trigger on a Bitwig update. If I can buy it and sit on it for a few months before activation that would make it worthwhile.
