Terrible isnt it :hihi:

@moderators.
can someone stop this guy from bumping his own threads this way?
the post he's replyin to is from the 25th...and he replies to it on the 28th. :roll:
that would be ok if he hadn't been around the past few days....but on the 26-27 he's posted on this site over 40 times!....but opbviously didn't feel like replyin to this thread till he saw it slippin to page2.
other developers (calling this guy a developer is an insult to the category) bump their own thread if they release an update or haven't had a chance to respond ....but this guy is just takin the piss.it's done it countless of times in the other thread too. this isnt a one off.

for every thread kept on page1 there's another one falling to page 2. to keep this freebie visible there's another much better freebie going unnoticed.
it just is plain wrong and damging for the visitors of this forum and him being friend with some of the moderators or else don't make it right.

thx
Just cause he is friends with me is not why he gets away with bumping... Thats a FALSE Statement. Period!
Anyone can bump whatever they want ... Krim has no special priviledges over anyone else. If you don't like it ... Tell him not the mods.

KvR is what you make it. We are a very open community and not much gets moderated around here. Only the Nasty .... We let you guys battle it out amongst yourselves.

You might notice ...that your words will only get it bumped more as Kriminal has a Pretty Big group of friends here.

According to KvR rules ... Krim has done nothing that needs moderating.
Geez.... The guy makes a great tool and makes ZERO Money on it ... Yet he gets hassled for promoting it.

Computer Music magazine is giving away a special edition of the rather excellent KARNAGE VSTi :D

Image

Its free on this months DVD (issue85)

New Feature: Host synced 8 step voltage array that can be routed to Osc1, Osc2, Oscs 1&2, The Filter, The RM freq, or the Dist Freq.. Think of it as another LFO type Modulation source with nil CPU hit... The little blue slider controls the overall level and the 8 rotary knobs control the levels of each step.. It sounds fantastic when modulating the filter or Dist...

Inside the magazine is a two page spread, inlcluding a review and a tutorial. Its also mentioned on about every other 6 pages (and got top billing above SS2 Free :hihi: )

So, run out and grab it now, it would be rude not too :D

(just over the page there is also a small review of one of my trax :D )

Do I dare try this? what I have heard is that it will destroy the monitors and stuff...I want a personal guarantie that it won't destroy my system as reported.

It hasnt destroyed mine, just turn the vol down a bit when you try it. It does do nasty vol spikes or anything.

1 guy in how many has reported speaker damage :pfft:
when testing any new synth tho always best to lower your speakers and maybe even add a limiter just in case :)

@manytone
there are 1000s of freebies.
if they were all to be bumped the same way the forum would be killed off.

cos U see nothing wrong about it ( :o ) don't mean is not wrong.
anyway cos U are a moderator u've just given anyone the right to bump their theards indefently and for no reason other than to get more exposure.
i've proven to u the reply he made was made deliberatley to avoid it slipping to page2 yet u ignore the facts.
I hope the same moderating methods will apply to developers which are not your friends.
actually I don't....cos as a affectionated kvr reader i don't wanna see ninjabumpings (disguised bumps) take over these forums.

ps: i would like to hear Ben's opinion on this.
if Ben says is fine....then it must be fine for EVERYONE....everyone of the "free" developers at least.
