Could you clarify ?
Like steps to reproduce your issue.
Not sure I understand what you mean.

Thanks !
If you are browsing a library and then switch tabs to say the fx tab, when you go back all the preset folders have closed up again.
Yes, and the same happens if you are deep down in some nested folders in Places, so you have to re-dig-down every time...
Would be good to have an option to keep folders open until manually closed.

Cheers,

Tom

Now fixed in next version.

so 'pulled the trigger' just before the deadline.

my initial impression is the structure is a lot simpler/more logical than I thought it was going to be (given comments Ive seen) , using the tree makes it pretty obvious, and makes creating layers/splits really trivial...

a couple of small comments (on mac osx 10.10.5)
- full screen, there is a bug if you hide and show the browser (basically recalculates the window size incorrectly, so doesn't go full width again)
- tree, can we please have the copy/paste node options that are available on the list view.
- mixer... its a little too easy to delete a part... I accidentally deleted a part by using the minus button next to the master, which I thought was going to remove the FX I put on it , no warning, bang it was gone (unsaved) ... I didn't mind as i was still just experimenting...
I would say, if you try to delete a part which is not saved, you should be warned ... they can get pretty complex/time consuming to create)

anyway, next step is to create custom scripts for MPE :)

Yes, the full screen option doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the screen

I just noticed that the intro price is gone now, good that i bought it before the deadline ends. The curent price shows as 349 $ (= 324,89 €) here. Additionally you have to pay 19% VAT here in Germany.

yeah, also if you are in full screen, when you restart Falcon it doesnt go back into full screen, it just sizes the main window as if it was full screen.

another suggestion... I think it would be more more intuitive if the drop target for things like FX was the whole keygroup/layer etc, not just the + button. then when you get started you could just pass the 'thing' over the main display and see what accepts it. (also gives a bigger target to hit :))

Comparatively, it is well worth the price, especially for the professional musician.

arghh, I tried to open the script with Komodo Edit, but this didnt work...

how do I reset which tool Falcon uses? what does it work with ? and where are the factory scripts located so I can take a look at them?

Komodo Edit 9.3 works just fine here (Windows 8.1 ).
Default Programs in Control Panel is what you need to reset it I'd say.

I'm not sure the factory things are available separately - you may need to open them in the editor and save them from there to your user folder and then work on that (I guess to prevent overwriting of factory stuff).

Cheer,

Tom

Hmm, the file said /tmp/midifilter.lua ( or whatever) so I assumed it copied it there, but perhaps not, and perhaps that's why it didn't open :)

Will play later... But my push 2 has just arrived, so may be a while ;)

Yeah, the internal scripts are copied to a temporary folder (since they don't exist on disk, but rather in the UFS) and you then save them to where you want them.
Komodo is extremely slow to open (only thing I don't like about it) and sometimes those temp files are already gone when you click somewhere else in the meantime but if it's open already, it should work. Or just don't do anything until it opens.
I think it's a Windows thing with temp files - happens in other apps too.

Cheers,

Tom

I would suggest using Notepad++ on Windows and TextWrangler on OSX
