Thanks grymmjack
I must say it took a few weeks to plan it all. Changing the layout a few times untill it was OK.
You don't have to take yourself down like that. If you set your mind to it you could also make something like that.

Lol, I work best in squallow, thats what it is.
Im using an ancient PSR as a midi controller, my keyboard, mouse and monitor barely function. And my piano (which you cant see) is practically falling apart.
You might wonder why I dont just sort it out, and I would be hard pushed to give you an answer. I guess it would take so much cash to make it look 'posh' that I could probably have a couple of new toys instead (and any junky nows that gear comes first above all!).
Some day it will be different...

PS. Do you like the hole in my seat? Lol, you cant see the one in the bottom but its even bigger!

Is that a Genius 'Comfy' keyboard (the typing one)? They may be cheap but by god, I swear they are the best keyboards I've ever used. Great for programming on.tee boy wrote:Damn, everyones studio looks so neat and tidy. Check out this tip:

Its a 'Genius' something, not sure if its a Comfy or not. But it has faired me well for long enough now (even with the occassional spillage).Mikomi wrote:Is that a Genius 'Comfy' keyboard (the typing one)? Yeah mine was like £6, exactly the same shape and key layout, just slightly differing decals (mine has a web address on it, in the top left). They really are great typing keyboards.
Anyway, if your set up works for you, why bother tidying up? I've found personally that a little bit of character in my room can be quite productive, just as long as said character isn't moulding.

nah bro, i'm not making fun at all, was trying to offer a bit of help for the mousing situation as that would drive me completley apeshit. i can totally understand where you are coming from though, i had an old chair i used for so long.. our bulldog chewed on the arms when he was a pup, and i had gaffer taped over them like 50 times, and when i would sit my arms would stick to the arm rests, and the back was all out of whack.. one of the casters was stuck in a 45 degree angle (not towards or away from my rig either so that was fun), and my desk has been beaten to shit too. you can't see much of it now, but there are all kinds of knicks scratches and wear and tear. it's so wobly from being disassembled and reassembled (moved 4 times while owning this) i think this is the last time i'll have to move ittee boy wrote:Lol, I work best in squallow, thats what it is.

looks are secondary to function though. so does the hole fit your ass? if so, it's perfect for you so long as you dont fall through it. it's a "FEATURE"

Naw its a pearl river(I think that is that big chinese piano maker, like the samick of china) piano labelled as a "brambach". Its a 48" and sounds ok if slightly nasal. When I take the trim panels off its very usable in a mix, and sounds better than most if not all sample sets I have heard.(but I hadnt heard Ivory or Acoustik piano)bluedad wrote:I thought you had a Kawai?Stupid American Pig wrote: my acoustic piano is to the left of the pc, but its just a cheap chinese made upright...

heh, Im not hiding them, I just took the pics last nite and was too lazy to move them. They are both Epiphones, the bass is an EB-0, and the guitar is a sheraton. here is the sheraton:Chuck E. Jesus wrote:

The mandolin is cool, not a jangly as I had expected it to be, actually sounds alot like a regular guitar when playing leads, but its just alot easier to cover a large range of pitches. When I play the 3 mandolin chords I know on it, it sounds alot more like a folk instrument, now I just need to get better at the fast picking...
