It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

A modifier key could work, currently I think there is already Alt on mac is used for reset, and ctrl on mac is right click, and shift is for fine drag. So perhaps a Alt+Ctrl? I'll look into it.
Any news on this? Ofc I'm happy with The Scream, yet a pad button or a key modifier would be highly appreciated.
This is still happening, but in a later update. I also want to add a pan knob to make it easier to re-balance stereo random patches without needing to go into the schematic editor.

Happy New Year everyone! This year I'm going to write more articles on various topics, including what I've been messing around with, as well as insights into ITB processing. To kick it off here is the first one:

Can you write them articles faster?

I read that, and part of me thinks, "so there's a Cytomic Phase 90 plugin pretty much ready to go?" Even though I know that's probably far from the case. ;)

Just in time for me to practice some guitar licks.

News: The Scream v1.2.12 is available for download. Thanks to potscrubber (gearspace) for creating a preset that caused numerical issues with very large capacitance values, which is something I didn't think of checking previously. Normally capacitors are around a maximum of 100 micro (10^-6) Farads, but potscrubber typed in 1k (10^3) Farads for a bunch capacitors, which caused weird noise. I've now capped the maximum Farad value to 1, and spent a week re-doing the solver to have the best cpu vs stability and noise tradeoff possible. I've also re-generated

• Fix: HD and MD versions updated to support up to 1 Farad capacitors without excessive noise
• Fix: schematic view now shows correct component values after closing and opening the plugin UI

I'm still chipping away at it. The latest thing I've worked on for it is a way to do filter morphing in a very musical manner, where for any 4 pole filter you have control over the two notch positions and depth independently, so you can morph between all popular responses smoothly, for example low pass to bandpass to high pass, or low pass to notch to high pass, or band pass through twin notch to regular notch etc. So each filter has 6 controls: cutoff, resonance, notch 1 pos, notch 2 pos, notch 1 depth, notch 2 depth. I need to sort out an intuitive UI for it.
