First music software I've ever seen to be only available on the Windows Store - weird...
I haven't looked into the Windows Store for years.

Have not used any of the Insert Piz Here VST 64 bit plugins for a while.
There are 46 plugins in the bundle.
And they are multi-touch capable.
Check out this link

for Insert Piz Here
Edit: They are free.

I also use them occasionally, mostly as a quick and dirty MIDI fx (e.g. to force notes to a scale) in Unify

Bitwig Studio 4.1 is now in beta and comes with a load of Midi devices that further enhance it's already good palette of generative options. Where 4.0 came with many ways to modify note parameters in clips creatively and generatively, 4.1 ads things like strum, a bouncing-ball simulation for notes, humanise and several other real-time tools.

Checked to see what happened to Melodology Pro ArpSeq.
It seemed interesting enough to me.
The only info was here
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=541755
and on the Melodology signature.
Looks like vaporware.
Too bad.

Is $145 for Bitwig Studio 4 and Upgrade Plan to March 22 a good deal?ThomasHelzle wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 3:34 pm Bitwig Studio 4.1 is now in beta and comes with a load of Midi devices that further enhance it's already good palette of generative options. tbh it sounds like an overly good deal, I’d suspect anyone I didn’t already know who was offering it for that price, it’s about $400 new from retail

I upgraded my 8 track for 217 usd at some sale. You could get the 8 track for free from someone.
Upgrade plans go for 120-130 usd around black friday if I remember correctly.
If you don't need to buy upgrade right after expiration then I could see the 145 being ok deal.

Yeah sounds good to me if it's legit.
But could be, since some users who aren't into midi tools are a bit upset about the current update...
And always buy the upgrade in sales, they have them 2-3 times a year.
JRRshop is usually the cheapest with code FORUM or GROUP.
You can buy the "update plan" whenever you like and only put the serial into the Bitwig Website form when you actually want to update - it stays valid as long as you want to wait.
The licenses as such are perpetual, you just don't get updates anymore after the plan runs out. I usually wait for a couple of months until something nice comes along...
Cheers,
Tom

Thanks Thomas. Do you find the upgrade plan price to be reasonable?
