110 great sounding presets - 27$ (~22 €) and you say "seriously?"

It's a pretty fair price for a very good content... what's next? Request Komplete v10 for 199€?

Some years ago, 64 patches in similar quality cost 32€ /40$ ...

It is expensive to me too. But perhaps we are the minority.. anything over 20 USD is expensive for a bank of presets imo.

I get excited when I see 19.99 and then I realize the price is in euro's so I'll end up actually paying like $30. I think it's a mental thing, I get kind of put off when I realize how much more I'll have to pay.

i think sound designers should get paid fairly for their work...like everyone else. and yeah, perhaps it would help to list the amount in dollars AND euros...so there's no surprise when u check the exchange rate.

still...seems like a lot. but sounds good, so...maybe i'll go for it. AFTER buying everyone their xmas gifts...

You have to respect the sound design on this one and particularly how good Spire can sound as a kick drum synth!! I don't normally buy preset packs but yeah, a $20 price tag would push me to consider grabbing it. No doubt thought that a lot of effort has gone into this though, well done! :)

TheoM wrote:what is the transfer policy of spire? It's very unfortunate as i can simply NOT FAULT the synth whatsoever, it is flawless regards to SOUND, but the cpu is killing me guys. It's using as of the latest build i downloaded 2 days back, a whole core for 8 voices. :(

After hearing that trance soundset it inspired me even more to keep spire, because i know what it's capable of. It's more of a novelty set though, cause most of those sounds have been used, and with the new order (blade) sequence, just like in sylenth's factory bank (although spire sounds phatter for sure), that simply could never be used in a track.

Are there any plans to further improve cpu? multi core perhaps? What are the transfer policies?

It's not so bad for my i7 2.4ghz quad MBP.

I can run 3-4 instances with 2-4 voices max on each instance without things getting too crazy.

Sure it would be nice to have Zebra style cpu usage on this so i could run up to 20+ instances..

Just pulled the trigger on this even though my bank account was telling me "Don't do it again". It was worth the $27. Very good presets that show off why we all love this VST. There is something about the urgency of the sound and the reverb is so lush for a VST synth. Fantastic job on this sound bank!

I may pull the trigger on this. Spire's demo videos sold me on the synth, and the one for the presets are quickly selling me on the bank. It's incredible how good Spire sounds, yet it fits nicely in a mix, too. My only concern is the level of processing the sounds in the video have gone through. The ones for the demo video for Spire went trough practically no processing, and I was quickly able to get the same sound. But the ad for the presets seems a bit more "polished," i dunno. If it sounds anywhere near the level of the video, these presets would definetly be worth it.

I can deal with Spire's CPU; it always can be frozen. But the reason it takes like 10 mins to load a project with Spire in FLStudio keeps me from using it as much as I should. Funny because S1 loads it almost instantly.

Yo Reveal, if you're reading this, I would easily buy a preset bank full of good drum sounds. For some reason the drum patches in the factory library are the best I've heard out of any synth; even commercial sound sets for things like Sylenth and Massive cannot compare to them.

Your price is fair, alot of work goes in to it. But i don't understand why for the price you don't make it a full bank of 128. Just being honest.
But that would possibly double the amount of time the Sound Designer has to put into making the presets.
If the price is fair its fair.

Hmmm... I think $69. for really good patches, say 128 or more, Is sort of like getting another synth for $69. Not too many fall in that category but I've definitely purchased all of Bigtones stuff (and some others) with that philosophy.
