I'm reasonably confident that I am not alone in thinking that perhaps you are looking at this backwards. The 'Universe' is obviously prompting you to think outside your perceived spacial restrictions (whether real or imaginary) and acquire more gear than you can possibly use or need. The purpose will unfold... once you let go of those restriction convictions.
At the very least, by virtue of your new space, you would have the ability and opportunity to host several of those people who have inspired/enabled/tempted you to accumulate much if not all of your cool stuff... and have a jammies party themed celebration of gratuitousness.
After which, you could gift them with your excess, and thus free up space, for even more cool stuff. Win/Win. (pizza, and/or ice-cream would be a plus)
