Sorry, I missed the question. 6.0.3 here too, and zone 7 seems to be one of the offenders.Ian B wrote:Hi arguru, arguru wrote:What version of DirectWave are you using? (It's displayed at top-right display box)
If this question was aimed at play and myself, I can't speak for play, but I'm using FLS v6.03 > DW v1.0.
FL6 is out!!

I get no sound out of DirectWave using the keyboard. I can click on the keyboard in DirectWave and hear sound but if I hit a key on the keyboard no sound. Even though I can see on the keyboard and FLStudio that FLS and DirectWave are both recieving midi.

HI
I keep getting v5.02b when I go to tucows?
Any ideas why!
This is from my FL page or the link I got when I purchased FL a couple of years back.

Same here. Go to the forum and there is a link there under the heading FL6 released (or something like that).original flipper wrote:HI

edit: I noticed today he's on the cover of some mag for musos. My first thought was, how in the world/why in the world do they think this sells mags to the 18-28 year old market. They need a cover girl, not a cover boy. Right? Statistically speaking.

You mean BT as in Bachman Turner Overdrive?bluedad wrote:I really like that demo tune..kind of reminds me of BT.
I thought the demo song was like from Cher's kid er sumpthin...
Learning some things from the way that demo song is set up in there though. Interesting to play with the EQUO in it and to take the MB Compressor off-line and hear the difference.

Well I'd like to have been in the marketing meeting that dreamed up the concept of marketing to a micro segment of the population instead of their target audience. It probably went something like the concepting meetings that came up with Hogan's Heroes. One guy chimes in, "I know, let's do a sitcom about Nazis and their subjugated allied prisoners. It'll be a riot of fun!"....silence in the room....yeah....hmmm...yeah, that's the ticket!! I mean, on paper it's a giant failure. Luckily, it was kind of a funny show, but who could possibly have known.

The intro tune is cool but ack, it takes me forever to find out how they did everything.
I have owned FL since 3.5 or something and still have problems understanding how everything hangs together in there. In Ableton Live things are so much less convoluted.
I REALLY wish I could understand more of how fruity works because after all this time I think I have completed MAYBE two songs in it. Everything else I have produced in Tracktion (which I sold again) and Live (my current sequencer of choice).
I even bought the Fruity bible when it came out but it didn't help much. I have FL XXL and Sytrus 2 and all the goodies (up to now).
It's like...what's the secret? Maybe I'm just not seeing through all the screen clutter or something...
