PCHIsHere wrote:Hello,
Don't know whether I'm doing something wrong, or even whether this is the correct place for this post, but I appear to be losing the selected Catanya preset name on exiting Reaper. I have the full version of Catanya and on selecting a preset in the Catanya GUI it:
1) Doesn't update the selected preset name in the drop-down box above the Browser and Sequencer icons until the GUI is re-entered.
2)After saving the project on exiting Reaper, on re-entry, the preset name is shown as "init". The pattern in the Sequencer appears to be correct, but the preset name has been lost.
Is this a bug?
I hope you can understand what I am trying to describe.
Regards,
Paul.

Couldn't find it mentioned anywhere in the thread, but is this going Mac VST at any point?

I tried the demo, but it's crippled so much that I hardly call this a demofjolle wrote: But try the demo
I'll throw some comments when I learned how to use it, but the interface seems pretty well designed so it shouldn't take long.

I agree with Soundresource. Tried the demo and deleted it because it was no fun to play around. Impossible to explore with all the limitations. To bad, because it seemed to be a neat application
Maybe there will be a better one next time.

MOST unfortunate! I was really looking forward to a 64 bit version since you said previously NOT to run it under Vista 64. Let me know if you change your mind, thanks!7Aliens wrote:NoAloysius wrote:Are there planned updates to the VST itself? I have a full copy! Thanks . . .

To be clear: there are possible changes (there is a lot of new
features for at least 2 versions) but it depends on how many
people will be interested in it. It's the new concept and
any decision has to wait for 2 weeks approximately.

* How stable is it when used in Cubase 4 & 5?
Catanya is stable in Cubase 4. Due to date of Cubase 5 release it was not tested in it and it results to some bugs (Cubase 5 bugs).
* Will it work flawless on fast Quadcore machines?
Do you have any suggestion why it won't work on fast Quadcore machines?
* Will it run on a 64 bit OS as well?
There are set requirements where you can read that 32 bit Windows only is needed.
* How is your update/upgrade policy? (A lot of smaller companies are fine & friendly at the beginning, but after they go to a let's say 1.5v of a product they start to go all Waves on your ass and start charging a lot for updates
)
