I remember doing a comparison way back when and indeed the x gear with the same patch was higher ram wise.

Good to see an official list coming together. You might want to cheat off the papers of other certain gear-happy forums for those coupla microphones that are throwing people. Also, there's an EH box that was completely missed somewhere in there, difficult to catch for sure so I'm not surprised. Plus all the dang boxes are so similar from certain angles it could drive you crazy. At least there's no space issue for each pedal on the board like in real life, though
RE X-Gear, I know that each release has more and more RAM optimization as well as the CPU side but I can check into that. If you guys are right about one possibility, it would be revamped by default anyway
But you know I won't commit to it until the iPhone app comes out. Whoops! No, really, it isn't like that this time.

Nope. Never modelled. Well, not for anything existinghibidy wrote:Was the small stone part of the metal??
Edit - Metal had the Phazer 9 (Phase 90) and AmpliTube 2 had the 100.

List updated with the 3 new pics.
Note the GP11 name on the Trace Elliot is misleading, this is only the designation of the preamp section, afair it should be an AHxxx model, the xxx being the rated output power.

Pic 15 could also be an Electric Mistress (no Deluxe though), don't know.
I assumed it's a Big Muff and thought it was confirmed by later photos which definitely show a Big Muff.
Or are you talking about an EH that is not on my list at all ?
Still wondering about what I believe to be a Neumann Uxx mic, I don't like the looks of the clamp, but then I've never encountered one without the (optional and crazily expensive) shockmount ...
Next find : Pic 36 could well be another shot of that mic, it's not the TLM170R as the ring with the Neumann letters is black, not red.
Updated my list accordingly.
I'll keep on trying ...
Cheers,
susiwong
PS: Did some searching for other forum posts, admitted, but haven't found more than one rather clueless thread @ gearslutz.
Any hints ?
Any related thread sightings by non-IK personnel ?

Are we sure the TLM170 isn't a TLM103.susiwong wrote: Still wondering about what I believe to be a Neumann Uxx mic, I don't like the looks of the clamp, but then I've never encountered one without the (optional and crazily expensive) shockmount ...
The other one is likely the Nuemann U67 that IK did for Hendrix.

Fwiw, I don't think in terms of competition here at all, it's more of a common effort. Every contribution is welcome, even IK encourage us to take clues wherever we find them.hibidy wrote:yeah, my somewhat reasonable early showing has been outdone, outdid, and outclassed
They want to get a buzz going, we have some fun detective work to do, great !

Now we're talking ...
Two new, rather explicit pics !
57: Mosrite Fuzzrite
Univibe + pedal
Maestro FuzzTone 1
Roger Mayer Axis Fuzz
Roger Mayer Octavia
Roger Mayer Classic Fuzz
Maestro FuzzTone 2 (with the suspicious "tone" pot)
58: MXR Flanger - yay !
Digitech Whammy
EH Big Muff
ProCo Rat
Boss SD-1 Super OverDrive
Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal
Boss DS-1 Distortion
Boss MT-2 Metal Zone
Boss DF-2 Super Feedbacker & Distortion
Boss BF-2 Flanger
Wow, that was tough !
Great selection of FX btw !
Still, some questions remain :
-- are the Roger Mayer pedals correct - is the colour relevant ?
I went by the current colours, and in case of the Classic Fuzz by the pic in AJH
-- the Neumann mic is still not completely confirmed - talked to my shop friends today and we all believe it's a vintage U67 with the Tuchel connector, in any case not a current Neumann. Still, until I've seen a photo of an identical one ...
-- some smaller odds and ends, some of the verbal hints actually added more confusion
instead of helping ...
So much for now,
Cheers,
susiwong

I actually knew one of the peddles, didn't have anything to do with the name plastered across the front!!
Has to be amplitube 3 with all these. Unless anyone has found someone that used it all?

Definitely a TLM170R, the TLM103 does only cardioid.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Are we sure the TLM170 isn't a TLM103.
And then, the TLM170 is a mic I've lots of hands-on experience with, a great allrounder/utility mic, though arguably none of the TLM's can hold a candle to the U's in character.
They have different strengths, noise floor and stuff.
