Reaktor 5.5 beta!!!!!!!

That's strange, I don't have these folders, although I've just downloaded the R5.5 update from my NI account.

So ok ; I guess I have to re-run the installer, and see if I didn't miss something. Thanks !

I didn't activate any options in the install process. I just ran it, and when I opened 5.5 for the first time, those folders (EI1 & EI 2) were in the browser that lists ensembles.

I'm on Windows Vista (if that might make a difference).

@BERFAB:
1. As pointed out Spiral is a MIDI out ensemble.
2. I believe you have to "activate" DEMO mode for GR4 to get access to these extras to try. I'd take a look in some of the menus to see if there's something about DEMO mode.

I've got 2 questions if anyone can comment please:

1. I updated to Reaktor 5.5. Seems like a great update, and it's very nice to finally have the original Limelite and others from EI 1 & 2. All ensembles play as they should, with one exception: I can't seem to get Spiral going. Is there some secret to this one? The UI shows up, and even seems to indicate that sound is playing, but nothing is coming out of my speakers. All else seems fine here. Any thoughts?

2. Early in this thread (IIRC), someone references Rammfire and Reflektor as demos in the most recent GR update. Well, I updated, but I don't see any demos showing up anywhere. Did I misunderstand? If not, where do I find these?

I'll be updating soon to K7 anyway, but I thought it'd be nice to get a preview.

made it a bit more obvious ...
you'd have tumbled to it fairly soon , i imagine ...

for some extra fun , don't neglect the possibilities contained in automating
some of the reporting parameters ...

you can do both , depending on how you wire it ...

right click on the name of the .ens ( spiral ) , in the wrapper ...
choose ' instrument properties ' ...
engage the ' connect ' tab ...

here , you control how midi is sent and received ...
fairly straight forward ...

In Reaktor. Menu on left hand side.

Click on Factory (this should already be open anyway).

Then click on 'Ensembles' and . . . there they are!!!

Ok, I finally got these libraries installed

Actually, in order to fully install R5.5, I had to install R5.5 over R5.1.X (and not over R5.0!). That was the trick!

Now, it's time to have some fun with R5.5

So is there a possibility to change the number of voices/unison voices through the ensemble itself now in 5.5?
I absolutely hate the new interface which makes everything so uncomfortable and forces me to scroll through my instrument in Cubase due to non-resizable window - but what's worse is that I now have to dig through the properties to set the number of voices and unison voices instead of just setting their amount in the window tab like before.
