thanks...
Aaaaaaah, please not the editor thing again. There was almost a whole thread about this and NO, at V1.0 there is no wavetable editor.

BTW did anyone notice that there are 120 wavetables now?? Try those first, load a sample from the Waveterm library or use your own samples... :bang:

Why not. Maybe Waldorf noted what the users want
Here is what i added to the Bugtracker (already mentioned here several times...) for the Beta test, already one month ago, this time as full text:

"In a future update (maybe v1.5 or up) it would be nice to be able to create your own wavetables, either in the plugin itself or as an extra program.

This is a request which several people at KVR did since the Betatest started.

Of course this will be a bigger project so it's not done in a few days i guess..."

In the bugtracker nothing gets lost like in a forum so let's see what we'll get in the future.

bad day?

perhaps i didn't ask the question correctly: i assume there are slots to load user waves, does PPG do interpolation between wave slots like Kubik? sorry, i didn't see this answered in what i've read so far...

EDIT: it's done loading so i'll probably figure it out myself, thanks for your time...

Sorry, it was nothing personal. this question comes up so often that i'm a bit tired about it...
Like written in my last post an official request for an editor was added one month ago. That's all i could do for the moment and like i already told countless times there is so much to explore even without a wavetable editor.

download the damn thing and read the manual mate :)
u have a 8 time multitimbral synth and so u can load 8 samples and spread them over the keyboard...thats all, no editing, no nothing (except for sample start, end, loop, etc)

sorry, i just didn't understand how one could load a sample w/o a wavetable editor...but the folder wouldn't extract, so i'll just use Kubik...

It's written that this is the upgrade for owner of the PPG 2.V. This should mean it's valid for Waldor edition owners too but i'm not sure.

I added a reply at the PPG Beta forum about this.

Wait, did i understand some things wrong? Maybe...

Some questions + hints for you:

- What does it mean the folder doesn't extract?
- Which OS do you use?
- Samples are called "Transients" in the PPG and you could load them in several ways in the GUI, also by drag & drop to the current multi part
- the ability to load samples/transients and having a wavetable editor is a totally different thing IMO
- you could also import Waveterm B image files in .WTB format, the included Waveterm B library has that format too

Here is a reply from Achim Gratz ("ASSI", "Stromeko") to my request in the Bugtracker:
"Just read Hermann Seib's description of the WTB disk format and make your own WTB disks for importing into the PPG 3.V — it doesn't get much easier than that"

I still don't know how this should help with the wavetables but the Waveterm C software from Hermann Seib is here:
http://www.hermannseib.com/waveterm/

http://www.hermannseib.com/english/synt ... avesim.htm
http://www.hermannseib.com/english/synt ... ibrary.htm

:!: PS:
For those who didn't recognize some new wavetables which have an "U" at the end of their name are so called double wavetables. With those you have access to 128 instead of 64 waveforms of the standard wavetables.

After i asked Haibin of the Waldorf Online Shop the text is slightly changed now. Of course the upgrade is also available for Users of the Waldorf Edition:

BTW there is some other news in the Online Shop too:

Analog vs Digital for Blofeld

UPDATE:
I just found that there is no "Buy" button for the PPG Wave 3.V Upgrade version. Maybe this will be added together with the full version.

Will PPG Wave 3.V have the 64bit native support?

Hello Igro, i don't know if the LE version will qualify but my guess is no. Not sure about the upgrade procedure.
I just collected some questions and my own remarks and sent them to Haibin from the Waldorf Online Shop.

Hi Ingo! I'm asking because i found this at the website:
Owners of all versions of PPG Wave 2.V, including the LE version and the Waldorf Edition, are eligible for this upgrade
