from the celemony page, all versions of celemony melodyne use the same interface (ARA) so they'd all work the same, i.e. if it comes with melodyne essential, and you buy (or already have) melodyne editor or assistant, it would just work (probably after downloading an update, hopefully not a paid upgrade!)

Finally a reason to get rid of Cubase 6!
BTW, someone was asking about the high CPU on melodyne. I have melody editor (standalone) and it is quite CPU hungry. I hope the melodyne implementation in S1v2 will only use high CPU for tracks that are currently being edited. However, I trust these guys the implementation is going to be groundbreaking.

hibidy, most of the stuff you listed already works flawless in 1.6.
(unlike Cubase who still freezes on startup scanning my entire C drive for all DLL's.. ok ok i stop, no hijacking!!!)

That has been a reality since the very first iteration of Melodyne, and what *I* got it for. e.g. "audio-2-MIDI"... works a charm on most stuff, btw.Igro wrote:Uhhh! So I can imitate synth pad with my voice and then from melodyne import this to midi track with any synth as a output. Jesus! That will be mindblowing.
I've not upgraded to any of the new $tuff, and have just stuck with cre8/studio 3.2.2. It works, and I can live with the minor inconvenience of editing outside the host.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil
