Biggest compliment we had regarding presets
Your welcome, and good work 8)

The filter is good, but I think it can be improved further. comparing it with diva and saurus in a spectrum analyzer, the harmonics (on those 2 synths) tend to thicken a bit around the cutoff frequency and the 2 notches that follow it when the resonance is very high and don't peak (self resonate) quickly. While in Oxium the peaking happens quicker. Not saying it's bad, just different, infact many people might like it this way.

May be, another 3rd type of LP in future versions.
Well unlike our previous synthesizers wich were closely modelled after existing synthesizers, Oxium has a sound of its own, by design.

Real analog synthesizers ( as we have analysed now quite a lot of them) show very different behaviour regarding these things.

Like the presets eventually show it, it is hopefully quite versatile, by design, and can mimic, or approach several different vintage synths/

Different colors, different features, different approaches. Oxium is unique. For us, it was really important it would be like that.

(and its only three of them atm, more will come  )
You need also some showroom presets and some bred & butter presets. This time all sounds are a bit average, people will eventually lost the interest after a short time.
If you need an idea to make a good and successful synth look to U-He, Fxpansion and other of the top companies. This "Oxium" synth could be fall very quick under the radar if you make too much mistakes with your "strategy".

Just demoed the synth. It's ok. Filter is nice. But with more voice unison and when playing higher notes, they sound a bit plastic and unrealistic unfortunately. And recreating a good supersaw lead with this synth is not possible, without sounding plastic and metallic. Also one thing I noticed, maybe it's my fault, you cannot do the tune in micropoint, it's only possible by 0.12 points, I looked under options, but none of the given options let me do 0.01 changes on the knobs, even if I picked it up.

I have i7 2600 and when playing a bit more chords, high count voice unison sound, it easily eats over 50% cpu, which is total nonsense. Compared it to Saurus, ElectraX, Dune and Sylenth, the cpu doesn't justify the sound at all.

But what I liked about this synth is bass, sounds well rounded, might gonna buy it just because of this.

I had the same lock up experience. So there is a time limit at the moment, but the demo is definitely worth checking out! This synth sounds very good. It has the Xils-Lab sound and that's a nice one.

The presets are good, but I would love to see more (I understand that Xils-Lab is working on it). I like the idea of the included initial presets you can build further on, these are very usefull.

I have to dive into the manual for the grid section, don't understand immediately how it works.

And €69 is almost a no brainer if you want a Xils-Lab synth!

Yes , Tip : To get fine increments just hold the SHIFT key while turning the knobs. Some of the factory presets use this.

This might help you for the Supersaw, as well as these 4 knobs : Tune ( Only when Unisson is at least 2 ) , Drift ( between oscillators ), and Vintage (near the general gain knob) Also modulating slightly the pitch of each oscillator in the matrix with two different LFOs, and then cautiously turning the SPRAY MODULATION knob should give you big sounds effortless, and eventually spare you some Unisson voices.

Is there a way to set a knob parameter back to 0/init value?
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Ok that's good to know it didn't happen just here. I have no problem with a time limit....it was just touted as having no time limitation so it was unexpected.

+1 It needs much more bass presets :)

ok, i'm really starting to like this thing! just spent half an hour twisting Lotuzia's "Arp Madness II" patch sideways, totally funky. really fun synth, i'll be playing with this all night.

is it just me, or is the Pan knob reversed?

... and lol @ "can't do a supersaw lead". :hihi: seriously?

I also don't have a problem with the time limit. I'm used to it while demoing synths, and 30 minutes is fine for testing I think.

You should know by now how much I hate that - unless a person has 3 hands it means you can't play the keyboard to hear the sound you are tweaking while holding the shift key using one hand and the mouse in another - much better to do what FabFilter do and have 2 areas in the knob, one coarse, one fine.

just demoing now
yikes, only six pads in the bank to better get patching ;)

it's gonna take me a while to get to grips with the interface though i'm sure it is worth the investment

so far i can say it's certainly priced right, especially at the intro rate and for those new to xils synths.
in that respect lotuzia, what are the loyalty-discount rates ? doesn't it increase depending on how many other xils plugs you own ? can you give a list of those rates please ? thx

I tried the demo in Reaper 4.22 x64 on Win 7 x64. The problem I'm experiencing is that either the GUI is breaking up or the control will not move when I try to adjust certain parameters (like the analog filter for example.) Also, if I audition a midi loop in the Reaper browser when I stop the loop Oxium hangs and the sound continues. I have to delete Oxium and reinsert it to stop it from playing the sound. Hope I've explained that clearly enough. If not let me know.

I was also hoping for more macro controls to make adjustments easier.
