I've heard good things about Kclip (demo is in the makings apparently), but it's not a limiter (compresses peaks), it's a clipper (chops peaks off).

go to gearslutz, there is long thread about this plugin. Nobody had an issue with antivirus. Maybe time to change the Avast for something good

I've read the first few and last few pages of this thread. Any thoughts on bx_limiter? There's a great Plugin Alliance sale going on right now, but Fabfilter's summer bundle sale is possibly happening in the next week or so (likely buying Pro-MB & Pro-L.

I've tweaked and re-tweaked my workflow many times since my initial post.
However, for quite some time, I have been happiest with the Bx_XL V2. It is M/S so a little unusual but based on how my goofy mind works, makes the most sense to me. It is presently the last processor in my mastering chain.

- subtractive EQ du jour
- 'Glue'-like 2 bus compression du jour
- * I have been adding a touch of VSM3 here for some widening/excitement via 2nd & 3rd order harmonics
- tape sim du jour
- gentle additive EQ du jour
- Bx_XL V2

Which brickwall mastering limiter?
