This is freaking unbelievable. It's people like you that scared away so many gifted DSP programmers from the freeware scene. Antto devoted a lot of time to make this for you and me and everybody else. Time that he could have spent differently like making real money so maybe you would like to rethink and revise your brainless post.

you can import NSP files says the manual.
so import and then export as .303

This takes too long I usually do the basslines in the piano roll and then transfer it into the internal sequencer.

Actually its the quickest way once you understand how it works.
Also the most straight forward way to have it sound like a 303, with midi its possible but you have to know some tricks.

I just need an universal format to work with it on other plugins too (ABL2, Phoscyon, ...).

No he didnt. He made it for himself. The fact he has made it available to everyone else is a bonus (if thats the kinda thing you want/like)

im pretty sure from all the posts ive read over the years he wanted a 100% accurate (or as close as he could get it) emulation of the 303 unit, all in. To get a 303 sound requires all parts of it to be 'realistic' hence the inclusion of the seq etc. For some ppl this is a pain, in which case they should use something else. I doubt that soundwise its much diff to other stuff, but performance/behaviour wise, its prob quite different...who knows.

Like i said, its not for me. The GUI is too small, and i have no interest in an archaic sequencer, but if thats what he wants, you have to respect that. Seems like he's done a good job. He's not forcing ppl to buy it or use it.

Nice one Antto, i've been waiting for this release for a long time and you didn't disappoint.

For me, i'm quite happy for you to stick with your 'use the internal sequencer' philosophy.

Sure, its confusing, but im learning it slowly and already getting results that I know I would never have got just using midi.

The only issue i've faced, which Ingonator already reported is the front panel knobs disappearing, but the params are still there in the device panel (in ableton live) and they're mapped to my controller so its not a big deal.

The sound is amazing, it has a bit more of that edge that I've found lacking in phoscyon and ABL. Also the 'resonance boost' control is brilliant.
