Yeah.

Let's start with the bug. Even though i tried to import my maschine 1.8 library to it, it doesn't remember the location when i load it from the browser (still downloading the 2.0 library). When i point them to the right location, they still refuses to load. Understandable since it's 2.0 and i'm basically paid for beta testing.

I like the new browser, fancy GUI on the left hand side if you have komplete or NI stuff.

Group are not limited anymore and to access the group after 8 is pretty easy.

Still reading the manual right now, they have change a lot of stuff.

Curious if integrating with a host is any different? (having to go in and change sound to midi and all that)

Does anyone know if the Maschine 2.0 hardware can act as a standalone MIDI controller i.e. output MIDI on the DIN port, without a laptop connected?

This is a major failing of 1.0 IMO ... I want to use the pads to trigger hardware drum machines, when my computer is not switched on.

Question for the early upgraders: does the Maschine 2.0 software overwrite the v1.x software, or do they live peacefully side by side on the same computer?

I'm jonesing for the update!

I've wanted a drum synth since about '10 and now they've added it i don't have the bones.

What location isn't it remembering?
are you speaking about projects or?

if you are speaking about imported M1 projects in M2, if you are using the internal samples/libraries you should be fine after the first time you point it out.... if you are using third party samples or your own, did you make use of the alias options in M1?
if may be a long night......
or are you speaking about something completely different?

I know the feeling. I totally feel like gasing and being an EA but I've got to hold off for a couple of weeks (at least) until all the garbage clears out and I have a spending balance again (nearly 3 grand for that guitar I got and the dentist, thats a big chunk a change for me)

So, I'll wait.....and keep up with bated breath.....
