Hi sorry it took me so long.
My Internet access is a bit 'iffy'. I usually poach the free WIFI from the bar over the road from
where I live. Providing it's turned on and it's not a Thursday 'Elvis tribute night'

Cheers Kirsty

:hihi: Thanking you kindly Kirsty :tu:

Really looking forward to Wavetable Oscillators too, takes me back to my days as a Fairlight owner :) All that's missing is the horid green graphics / black background from days of old :hihi:

    Great work.

Please note: horid green is not a feature request

I'm still working on some DSP features but when I get to the GUI I'd like to take you up on your offer
to help me. I have been playing with Blender Ubuntu, and find it quite daunting, but I think it's the right
software to help me make a better GUI.
Yes it's very daunting at the beggining,it takes some time to learn ,but you'll get there, just follow the basics,i will help you when you need some help :)

WOW ,thats the only word to descrive the new module...it remindes me of the Fairlight "waveform display" ,that module alone is amazing ,never seen anything like it in vst format :)

Thanks so much for the ongoing development of this- I've really appreciated the unique qualities of it thus far; to see further expansion and polish in the works is exciting!

Version 0.37 (beta)
http://www.datafilehost.com/d/5360c6b1

Fixed white noise
Improved chorus
New 24db/Oct LP Filter
New Wavetable Oscillator + Editor

File size is now 15MB because I included some example wavetables.
Also, I included a little HTML help file to get you started with the editor, but it's not that hard to figure out
Please let me know if you have any issues so that I can improve it.

Thanks Kirsty :)

Great fun with the new wavetable feature Kirsty, well done indeed :tu:

Really a nice addition the new wavetable editor, and all the improvements as well. Thank you very much Kirsty to spend your time on it, keep improving it and give it away for free!
Bests :)

Version 0.40 (beta)
http://www.datafilehost.com/d/6562b6ea

Fixed some bugs
Added a new Slew Module
Improved graphic resolution of wavetable FFT view
Added new option to draw harmonic profiles across the wavetable (aka Fairlight CMI)
Improved editor context menu options making editing a bit more 'standard'
Upped the patch count to 128
Added simple data compression to reduced file size of wavetables by 50%

Take a look at http://www.wikia.com/Special:CreateNewWiki - I't would be best if you started it, then you would 'own' it :)

Only seeing 6 patches :? the remainder are all empty with just a system and output module :?

Hi Kirsty.
On the Editor page the Wavetable Offset Point and Harmonic Profile knobs are not making any changes to the drawn / morphed waveforms. Am I missing something out or are they not yet working?
Thanks.
:tu: All is good

OK I'll have a go at it.

I don't see much point in making 100's of patches for a beta version as I'm prone to change stuff and
bugger them up. When i reach a stable release version I'll fill em all in

Hi Drew
Yep, your missing something out.

To see what is happening with profiles it's best to start with a new wavetable.
Image
Set the harmonic profile knob to 1 (the fundamential) and draw a profile (envelope)
This example is all positive so you can see it
Image
Click on FFT and you can see the profile you created across every waveform on the wavetable
If you play this one you will hear a sine wave at various volume levels in the wavetable.
Image
Change the Harmonic knob to a different value and draw another profile...
Image
Back on the FFT page you can see this profile is added to the wavetable at the new frequency
Image
Play it and listen.

If you've made a wavetable using morphing then you know the Wavetable Offset Point is working.
If not please read through my crappy HTML Wavetable help file included in the download to see how
it's done.
I guess it's time to make that wiki

I hope this all makes sense to you.

Kirsty :)
