Cost of soundbanks - often expensive

Interesting thread.

I create banks between 250 and 350 presets. I don't see the point in doing less. I mean, why bother at all? Takes me about a month to put a library together and that's working all day, everyday.

I price them between $20 and $25 depending on a number of factors that I won't get into here as this isn't a marketing forum.

As with anything else, some people tell me that I price my libraries way too low. Others tell me too high. Some like 'em, some don't.

Do what is right for YOU both on the creation and the buying end of things. Think your 100 patches are worth $100, sell 'em for $100. Think they're worth $10, sell 'em for $10.

Buyers, buy what you think is good value for you.

If everybody does this, you'd be surprised how easily we can all get along.
