I still wonder why Behringer hasn't come up with more presets. One would expect them to release at least some for popular vsti's. Even the editor is still in beta fase.

i've been using bcr2000 for year through usb port, despite no parameter feedback (in FL)and CC 96-101 encoders bug, everything works.
but i decided to connect it through midi i/o on E-mu 0404 PCI card. but my system can't even see bcr, not talking about DAW.
do i need instal midi drivers or change some properties somewhere?
thnx for help

If you connect via midi, the BCR uses the midi driver of your Emu-card. The Emu-driver won't let your computer 'see' what's connected to it. Your computer will only see the BCR if it's connected through usb.

Hi there as our friend Burnie putted one of my presets on his site too (cool), you could also look here for some more http://www.jeejeestudio.nl
Have fun everybody.
Also i had some email raffic with behringer.
- There will be no new editor made
- there is no driver issue (so or windows is troubling you could read it that way) or your bcr is defect if you have no feedback thru usb, like i have had from the beginning
via midi all feedback works fine.
Strange is tho, and that is why again contacted behringer. I re-installed winxp on a new harddrive and installed their latest driver, installed live, and God Allmighty i had feedback trhu usb on the bCr2000, i thought whoowooow.
Then i restarted my pc and it never worked again.
So where is the fault: their driver, or winxp or the bcr2000???

Hi all,
well, with glacial speed I finally got my BCF2000 and have had some success with SX3 in Mackie mode. My questions are these, hope the experts are still around:
- I would like to use the BCF for mixer control, and to get a BCR for VSTi and VST FX control. The manual is crap as we all know, so can someone tell me if this is even possible first off, and what the best way to chain the two devices would be. Single MIDI cable from one to another, then USB to my machine? And should I forget about Mackie altogether if I'm chaining the two?
- I have a MIDI expression pedal and it's in the BCF jack. I gather I shouldn't use Mackie mode if I want to use this thing to e.g. do a wah-wah while playing VSTi. Is there a problem with switching between Mackie and standard mode depending on what I want to do with BCF?
Many many thanks - if I can get these two things figured I'll be off and running.
your HSG.

Hi,
I made a little tutorial for using the BCR with Cubase 4.1. It's in german language but I think anybody who knows the subject just needs the link to the sysex-file. I made an overlay (pdf) too that you can print out and there you can see the mapping of the encoders and knobs. So here's the link: http://witez.blogspot.com
regards,
andreas

Hello,
I am trying to use the BCF2000 with Acid Pro 6. I wanted to use it for mixing and editing. So far I've had to set all the controls manually and I did get it to function but the faders don't move automatically. Does anyone know how to get this working correctly?

Has anyone managed to get a working setting to change the track BPM in Traktor with a rotary encoder on the BCR/F? (endless knob)
I've set up encoders in Rel-1 mode that work fine for seeking back/fwd around the track, but the BPM just responds crazy to any kind of encoder setting I've tried linking to it.
I'd like to have a knob I can set to just dial in to the right BPM quickly, instead of using buttons as quite often the BPM is quite far away from the true BPM. Maybe one knob for course and one for fine.
