New entry:
- [Keyboard] Desiderata Systems Seven Limit Mosaichord - WIP

The Mosaichord is a beautiful design, a piece of art.
It reminds me of the almost unplayable Tonal Plexus https://hpi.zentral.zone/tonalplexus but it seems much more straight forward…
A colleague had the first version called MegaPlex, and I made a translation to MPE in Max, as it was a way too complicated design using up all keys and all channels Midi can deliver. The buttons (I refuse to call them keys) where cheap, and would fall off easily had no capability for velocity or any expression.
It was an attempt to cover all just intonation areas but ended up as a mess…

Just wanted to say thanks, I've been referencing this list since you made it.FranklyFlawless wrote: Thu Jul 10, 2025 9:25 am I plan on ceasing maintenance of these lists of MPE hardware by the end of this year.
Also, to contribute a little myself, all of Artiphon's synths/controllers appear to be discontinued and, although their homepage is still up, it looks likely that they are sadly no longer a going concern.

Just a quick note to say that the Disting NT’s MPE implementation has just been updated to feature a mod matrix for all the MPE parameters on its multiple and lovely-sounding polyphonic synths. Previously it only handled polyphonic pitch bends - now it also handles pressure and Y. Works beautifully with the Linnstrument in my testing. It’s in beta firmware now but will be released soon.

The Waldorf Protein looks really good. Extremely cheap, small form, that Waldorf wavetable sound, mod matrix for MPE assignments to appropriate destinations, which just reading the manual sounds like Waldord are fully on board now. Loopop points out its 8-bit, so gritty character all the way, so its definitely not a 300 quid Iridium. but if anybody needs the sound of an MPE waldorf style 8-bit wavetable synth in an extremely portable desktop format. I'd still more likely bring ipad and audio interface out to jam, but, tempted.

I know at least one retailer that had Waldorf Protein stock yesterday (although they since sold out) so I would not describe its status as preorder.

It's coming up on three years since the last update to this listing, and a whole lot has happened since then. I don't have a ton of time to devote to this, but it would be great if we could update the list with new devices that now support MPE. The listing mentioned in the previous post is of historical interest but practically none of the devices there are commercially available any more.

Not sure which listing you mean. The list that is contained in the first post of this thread has been edited plenty over the years and includes recent things like the Waldorf Protein and the Osmose 61.mrspiral wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 7:49 pm It's coming up on three years since the last update to this listing, and a whole lot has happened since then.

However it is the case that the maintainer of that list said they would stop at the end of 2025, so we could do with a new plan going forwards.
I quite like the wiki approach that the likes of polyexpression dot com used, so that the task is not left on the shoulders of a single person. But I suspect their hardware list is pretty out of date right now. Their software list is well maintained though. I think there are a few other MPE resources online but Im out of date in terms of checking what sort of shape they are in.
