New Rando update released today with many new features.



New features include Global effects, one click drag and drop, Normalising, note drop into the sequencer, scale quantisations, loop retiming, auto start.

This plugin is going from strength to strength.

Seriously though.

This thing is an absolute powerhouse now.

The Global effects are fantastic and the ability to quickly make a loop out of any break is just fantastic.

Did anyone havce any issues with iLok?

License manager sees the license, and it's tied to my PC. Bitwig doesn't see Rando at all. As per Dennis' instruction, i did a scan for plugin errors, and then iLok activation starts, but no matter what I choose there, it always ends up asking me for dongle.

Any help?

Hi! We are looking into the Bitwig issue after the weekend. We had some reports that rescanning the plugin helped, but we are making this #1 priority next week. Also please make sure you update Bitwig to the latest version! Stay tuned, ain't nothing we can't fix!

Not sure if this is the problem, but I just picked up Rando and had the same issue with Bitwig. I tried activating it in Ableton, and it worked fine. I saw that Ableton's Browser had a MonkeyC folder with Rando and Rewind (which was an expired demo). In Bitwigs Browser there was no MonkeyC folder at all.

I deleted all the Rewind stuff and eventually the MonkeyC folder and Rando showed up in Bitwig and worked as expected.

Hi! We found out that Bitwig needs to be closed when you install. We are updating the installers next week to account for this!

is there a way to import a sample to a single key by just drag and drop a sample ?

Great ! But:
this is not working for me. (mac)
it gives bad visual feedback vs. the key*.
AND: it opens a file import dialog.
if i click file, it wants me to chose a folder.
What do i miss here ?

i just want to drag and drop a sample
(i searched btw. the manaul bevor asking here)

* the visual feedback vs. dragging a file on the key seems flawed. sometimes there is some visual feedback, mostoften not. It´s quite inconsistent.
if it "grabs it" the dialog opens........

Great catch!

When you are in chromatic mode that import dialog should not appear It is actually quite consistent, and luckily easy to fix! I will share this with the team, thanks for this!

Hey awesome work! How do I get the update? I downloaded without creating an account and authorized just fine. But I cannot find a way to download the update on the website, or from the plugin, or from any emails I have received. Will an email come with a download link?
