Hi CCT ! :)

1. Yes, the no-note-off problem is here too.

2. Dumping 0-127 works fine.

3. Velo split dumps are wrong.

btw. overlaping velocity layers should be possible
at all times.

Getting better ! :)

No crash here, but a freeze because of no-note-off.

EDIT: A mute button for each loaded VST becomes nessesary now. ;)

Exsc and CDxtract report "bad chucks" or so...
they can not open the sf2s.

While sfz and Awave can open them. :)

Vienna too :) weird ;] Maybe some chunks, are missed...
But when i started implementing sf2 output i do some things in vienna and tried to do the same by my tool so in the final my tool created exacly the same files. I dont know where the problem is :/
Maybe because there is only sample & layer & key range info ?

Post

Hi,

already a treasure yet. As others said, Awave loads the sf2 without a problem. What a fine work...

Damn, stacking stuff with this is getting addictive!

As JoMal said, yellow on white isn't easy to read, I find myself highlighting a lot...
Also, just for fun, I tried loading up the demo of amplitube. Unfortunatly, that seems to crash it every time.

Yes thats what the 2 programs are saying.

This could be.
Maybe if you add the same "init" values,
that Awave uses, maybe it works....
(Articulation, LFOs, EG1, EG2, Effects)
Just an idea tho...

Good luck ! :)

Klemperer: what os are you using ? I have xp sp1, and i have editbox'es with gray background

Midiworks: So i will add them :)

CCT,

Is it possible your monitor is out of calibration? Try loading the GUI into your graphics program and use the eyedropper tool to determine the RGB values of the text boxes. Just an idea.

Greetz.
Hi,

I run WindowsXP home. Anything fine here, was with SP1 and is with newly installed SP2 I think. You'll get a donation as soon as I have some money,=in January. I found this thread when people were long making suggestions, and it is a tool I would have never dreamt of...

Post

little addition (I didn't read the whole thread up to now and don't have time just yet, so it might be all known and useless).

1. dumping and building sf2 and wav is fine here without a problem I yet discovered :-). So is opening in AWAVE Studio 9.2, as I told you already

2. I made a little sf2 out of a cello-VSTi, and played it in sfz+ and Orion-sampler without a problem

3. I made a bigger (42MB)-sf2-file with a CRYSTAL-preset, and can as usual load it in Awave and do what I want there, and can play it in SFZ+. I cannot open it though in the Orion-sampler. So file is there :-) but Orion can't load it. It isn't a problem of big soundfonts as Orion loads really big ones without a problem, splendid-piano or so.
Well that might be just an Orion-problem and nothing interesting for you.

So just what I found here :-). Will get deeper into all of that as I have more time. cheers!

Puzzling. Everything is identical to mine except those text boxes. Hmmmm. Looking at your screen shot, you made the text boxes the same color as the synth-rack background and the larger velocity box in the lower left. These are the same color (dark gray) on mine also but the other text boxes are white for some reason.

It's a minor inconvenience really. I just double click to the right of the existing numbers and type over. :)

Hello

New version: http://audiolabz.com/vd04pc.rar

Not much, but now ZeroVector is working (my demo version was crashed while deleting - but probably is a zerovector bug), polyiblit is working, fxp/fxb is working, some fixups in window handling, compiled in asio driver but there is no dialog window to activate ;)

Because now i have no instant access to internet i will spend more time on coding instead of surfing ;)
Next version should include autolooper, sf2 player, output device selector (DS or ASIO) and maybe some more things (hmm maybe audioin inserted to chain nad midi out device - for sampling external devices - i think about that for about 4 weeks :) ) :)

Sounds great ! :)
Downloading right now.

Ok, Dumper needs to send midi notes via midi out,
the same notes that are selected on the Dumpers keyboard.
Note on, must be hold as long as the sampling time is set.
Followed by a note off message.
Then a pause, to avoid Reverb/delay overs laps for the next note.
To select a program use midi program-change message.

You could create an external Dumper slot,
when this is selected, it sends the midi to the connected hardware synth,
like I explaned above.

So, now I try the new version !
I report you later. :)
