Man, I remember camping...as soon as the little one is old enough I'm going back. Use to love Joshua Tree and Sequioa.

Should be getting my drums anyday now I suppose...really excited about this....but really bummed out about the whole situation Doru....my heart is with you, if there is anything I can do let me know.

Peace...

;)

and I do believe there was some pics of you and your studio some while back as well. If I wasn't so damn computer illiterate, I'd post a pic of me and my stuff....but I'm making progress (last night I learned how too take a part an m-audio keyboard, use a multimeter for the first time, and fix the pitch wheel pot and the sustain input). But enough of this hijack.

To stanlea : thank you brother !

To sidhu : SUPERDRUMS8000 are (both versions - wavs and refill) burned on cd's ! But , just think about this : 4,2 Gb burned on cd's ! 7-8 cd's for only one product ! What price must to have this ( ... think about all the costs ...) ? ... We made it very big efforts to keep this 29 $ available , because it's very easy to anyone to buy this price ! Many musicians are poor , thay can't buy a bigger price !

To vurt : great foto's ! I feel you indeed like a brother . Eh , it's so bad that we wasn't from the same place to working togheter at samples and music !
Congratulations for your son ! Have the same big musical talent like you ?

Hello Doru,First I must say that I admire you to keep living like this with such bad news. I wish you many good things in youre next form of life (or else)

I just received my DVD, but I can't read it. What's the buffer thing? I searched but I can't find where i can increase it. (winXP)

Is it normal that my DVD is only 1/3 burned of the total surface ?

thanks

Oh, man, I feel so stupid. The buffer thing fixed it. I'll order the other disk as penance.

From Windows XP Help:

To change the command history settings

1) Open the Command Prompt window.
2) Right-click the title bar, and do one of the following:
3) To change command history settings for all command prompt windows, click Defaults.
4) To change command history settings for the current command prompt window only, click Properties.
5) On the Options tab, under Command History, specify a buffer size, and then specify the number of buffers to use.

*I used 100 as the buffer size and 4 as the number of buffers, with 1GB memory.*

- To open a command prompt, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.
- Changing the buffer size changes the number of commands a buffer can store. Changing the number of buffers changes the number of processes that can have distinct history buffers. Increasing the number or size of buffers uses more memory.
- To eliminate the listing of duplicate commands in command history, select the Discard Old Duplicates check box.

No problem Doru, I was confuced because of your original post which stated :

3 versions are available :
1. refill (1 CD - 326 Mb)
2. wavs CD version (2 CD's - 1,27 Gb) (16 bits/44100 hz)
3. wavs DVD version (1 DVD - 4,15 Gb) (24 bits/96000 hz)

Figured it must be compressed or something...

I may be having the same problem...but I have know idea what a "Command Prompt Window" is. Can anyone offer more detailed steps that are idiot proff? I followed the above steps but it still wont read from disk.
