"from the technical aspect it is not possible for a plugin to have control over the length of the stream rendered by the daw."
I think so too, but after disconnecting Icarus 2.5 the wave file is saved without 30 seconds silence at the end. Version v2.0.8 of the plugin correctly writes to the file.

Post

I found the cause.
The version of Icarus 2.5 generates an additional slight noise and FL Studio adds an extra 30 seconds at the end as the output is not silent.

am late to the party (my limo was stuck in traffic), but great to see this, and excited to check it out. am downloading the beta... (dramatic pause).... now.

Nice update :tu: Thank you :)

I especially like the editing on the graph directly and the re-synthesis/sampling function. Nice video as well :)

Nice video! You look younger than I expected, considering Tone2 as been here for a long time. At what age did you started the company?

Post

I was born in 1978 and am now 44 years old. In the late 80s i got my first computer and started coding games and audiosoftware with the age of 13.
I always wanted to own a real synthesizer, but my parents never did buy one as it was too expensive. There was not much software available in these days so I programmed own audiosoftware for SoundBlaster cards.

^ I thought you look like early 30s! I'm 44 too but I'll be 45 next month (I'm born in 1977). 80% of my hair are white now though my face still look young. Wish I started programming at an early age... Damn NES and SNES! Keep up the good work, you're doing an excellent job!

Markus seems fit! I was about 10 kilos overweight when I was 44, now (56) I have about 18 kilos overweight (in fact I'm considered obese now :( ). Anyway, being fit and healthy is very important for the brain to function and keeps the depression away as well! So, I hope that Markus is doing some daily exercises so he can program better and we get better products :D

Thanks, that was interesting! The Future Crew were awesome and I can understand being an inspiration to many.
