hmm, you're right a candle could be bad news...but I'm not sure I agree it's more of a hazard. If he left his studio with the candle burning that would be one thing. However if he knock over said candle he would have time (or he should) to grab it...a drink spreads out fast and does not stay contained as a candle might...but niether should be near enough to gear to present a risk.

My Alesis 3060 mostly serves me as a candle storage. I won't light it there though

still doesn't look like much but my studio has some unique aspects about it.

for one thing it's "mobile"

Just got my new laptop set up and working ... it's an HP Pavilion dv8000 with 17 inch widescreen, Celeron 2 1.8ghz processors and 2 80gig HDDs :D
